I am not sure if i will be praising or otherwise, just bringing some food for thought.
Seen the first stream series for the lulz and laughter, watching devs having fun with various new mechanics and checking what they introduced (also seen all the book series videos). Have not seen anything else, as i have decided to leave something to be surprised about when the update comes. I will have summer vacation abroad starting the first weeks of September, meaning i'll probably come back to a brand new game version, perhaps even end of Experimental.
Point is, i am eager to experience it all, just like the rest of you. Been delving into Project Zomboid more, especially the 6 months later scenario (which i think is way more radical than the regular), finishing Dark Souls 3, but also recently checking out No Man's Sky Beyond 2.0 update, as well as waiting for Terraria 1.4 till the end of the year. My hopes and expectations have been stirred a lot throughout many different games (and genres), so i'm leaving myself some room to have fun with the game.
Sure A17 wasn't all that it could have been, but it was good enough to hold on the attention. Like if you're a salesman of something and suddenly one month you get way lower sales, but good enough to stay afloat. Everyone is watching you for the next month, how well you'll do, should you be still supported just as previously, because you did so fine and your leg slipped or is it the beginning of the end, creating a spiral down? The results will be in shortly, expectations are high according to some glimpses and leaks.
It all serves some purpose. I will put away a present for christmas that i got way early (because it was not possible to give it to me on that day) and revel in the surprise when it comes. After it comes, i will sing my praises, blow the horns and smile wide grinned or... step up to write what weighs on my heart. What will be next, time will tell.
