PC A17 optimazation

Not sure is this a good place to ask but got to try somewhere.

Let me start that I play on a potato laptop. I only play multiplayer so this is multiplayer only expirience.

The game runs ok. Considering my laptop I can't complain. I can't use moped for long as in random gen world just does not load that fast but I am ok with traveling without it.

So my question is this. Should I get excited about a17? :)

Will the same potato be able to run A17 as the A16?

Not sure is it important but I do plan to wait till A17.3 or whatever will be the last update before A18 I don't mind the wait.

 
It is really going to depned on if that potato is a plain old russet or a yukon gold. Personally I'm a bit concerned about my baby red (alienware with a GTX260). Your guess is as good as mine :)

 
They said earlier that a17 seems to use about 2GB less RAM. Also the new engine brings along more optimization. I would imagine that the min spec will fall similar to what it was back in a14.

Faatal has said there is still no way to determine what the min specs are going to be as all the major systems are not hooked up and working yet.

 
So I guess I will just have to wait and see. I hope I don't have to take a brake from 7 days to die till I get a new computer. That will take years :S
