A16 - STARVATION Mod for A16

Issue. I asked once and either missed or didn't get a response. I'm going into areas, and suddenly the map messes up and I can't move without nocliping, and building are filled with wet concrete blocks. I first saw this in a rad zone, and in my new game, outside the rad zone. Is this a me issue, or is this something others are getting.
I've had this as well. On the official discord for the mod they state that the game does this when the server has been up for a while. Try restarting the server. It works to fix it for the official server.

Mine is a private game, but I found the cause. I got tired of concrete blocks not hardening unless I exited the game and reloaded. Happened when I had a lot of wet blocks drying. So I set the dry time to 2, very fast. I noticed that when I approach a city too fast, it shows concrete blocks in the building and such. In an unchanged game, they go away after a second. In my game, that was long enough to harden into a block that stayed. And Starvation is demanding, making longer delays in things. Long enough.

 
does anyone get the dog collar to work on mutliplayer? When I use the dog collar in single player I get the message with the stats and the dog follows my whistles, in multiplayer I don't get the message and my whistles don't work.

I know that an admin on the server has his working, so I'm wondering if that is it?.

 
Still unable to make a generator housing "in the smith hammer" in our multiplayer game. Could anyone explain how to use the smiths hammer other then just putting it into the big anvil. I am unable to make the generator housing.

You have to use a the smith station. So you'll need a NPC to help produce the Diesel Generator.

 
We are stuck with the generator housing production as well, and you need that to use the moonshine still for had production.

 
Great mod! probably the best one out there.

/bugreport: you can place and repick a single coweb and they count for the emperor of the spiders quest.

The "Smith Hammer" Specified is actually not right in my experience. The generator housing is made in the "Smith Station" which is the station made from a NPC once you get the beacon up and running.

 
We have the Smith station, but still cannot make the diesel with all parts. And the durability of the Smith station is steadily going down, even though food is about 5 blocks away. How do we repair it, and how to we craft the diesel in in?

 
So, I don't know if this is the place to say this, but some issue with the mod launching. Yesterday is functionned pretty well, played 2 days, and when I relaunched, got stuck on a black screen and this error when I closed up the windows 0a18842bd4787a5b69e65cdc33c8ed3d.png

So, the black screen is when I launch it via steam with this launch option "-force-d3d9", when I launch it via Mod Launcher I get stuck on loading menu '^'

you use EAC launcher? black screen happens normally when you use EAC (this mod does not work with EAC)

With the 7D2DModLauncher, it get locked on loading menu, and on steam, I canceled the launch option. Used the 7DaysToDie.exe to rey, but since it the one launched by steam, it dont change anything and I still get the error.

this folder with all content I have to copy yes on the server right ??

on my server I have a folder called this:

7DaysToDieServer_Data

The same thing I have to do on my pc, when I start a single player works all.

if I then connekten to the server comes this message:

Server is still initializing, please try again in a minute

I forgot something to copy via ftp ??

Solar panel and battery issue. The bug zapper and sonic repellent have an issue when power switches from solar to battery. It causes them to stop actually working, until you turn them back on.

 
Just an Exploit I noticed Now I don't know if it is because of the level of shovel I am using or the skill points I have or what but if I place Sand down which costs 12 Crushed sand and use the shovel to pick it up I get 20 sand per block.

Are you trying to handcraft the Diesel Generator? If so, it will not work. The Smith has to make it.

This is the recipe from recipes.xml that you should be making:

Edit: In regards to the Smith's HP. In my experience as soon as they take damage, they will eventually disappear/die (Had this on the Smith,Cook, and farmer currently.) . I don't know of a way to repair them. We ended up putting them in secure rooms since they don't roam after you make them.

We could not get the smith recip[e for the diesel selected so he could make it, even though we had all the parts. He finally died.

Is there a yt video on how to use the smith station?

 
You need to give your settlers 3 different food tiers depending on their health when hurt they need to eat higher tier food.

Corn bread T1

Grilled meat T2

Meat stew t3

Plus more, searching should fully answer this

In my experience some crafter station recipes take a long time to craft, I sucessfully made a diesel generator last night.

On a side note my server crashed and will no longer save and on shutdown it's ground hog day

Player progression happens, farming works time passes. But on shutdown. It loops back to the crash time :)

Anyone ever had this ?

 
Am I correct that Bosses do not appear to be targeted by shotgun turrets?

The Shotgun turrets seem to ignore Bosses.

I have not tried other turrets.
