A16 - STARVATION Mod for A16

can Rez Bosses and Parasite Bosses spawn on Bloodmoon? I really feel like a Rez Boss would find the most power during a horde night, where htere are TONS of dead bodies( and sometimes Wall crusher bodies) to rez
They spawned in Starvation Mod A15 during bloodmoon all the time and were tons of fun to deal with (and yes rez bosses could rez other bosses as well). Unfortunately, I think those bosses only spawn during quests or certain events now in the A16 version.

 
Confirming this issue. The new recipes for bees-related foods require cookware but the 'craft' button is only shown in the kitchen table. However the kitchen table does not have the cookware add-on. The Big Oven is the station with the cookware add-on. Looks like they were switched. In other words, you cannot craft these new recipes. Haven't tried to craft the beekeepers clothing yet.
Also insect cream does not cure bee stings even though the text from bee stings says it can.

I'll post more things if/when I find them.
If you have any form of xml knowledge, you can open up the Recipes.xml and find all Bee related recipes (search Bee in the document) and replace kitchenworkbench with bigOven. This'll let you at least use the new bee items until an official fix is made.

I'm trying to install the "combopack" mod, and after what I thought to be a successful merge of the two rwgmixer.xml from both starvation and combopack, the game crashes saying it expected a ">" instead of "s". Looks like the game doesn't want to use a different rwgmixer, is this the case? If so how can I finish merging the combopack? I made a similar post a while pack and was told that I had to compile combopack as a mod for SDX. I really don't want to fiddle around with that and if there are other ways I would appreciate it if you guys told me. Thanks

Sorry, we do not support compopack with Starvation. Too many of the POIs throw off the mods balance, due to excessive loot like oil barrels.

I have successfully merged them, but in a15. There was also intolerable lag in doing so. I would recommend you pick some buildings from compopack and add them if you want but stay away from merging the complete compo pack as it would require alot of xml editing.

 
"severe snake bite" buff don't have cooldown? will affect forever until we got an antivenom or die ?
Yeah and it ticks down wellness too, although the description doesn't say so. With the stamina being unable to properly play and the difficulty to come by a cure, I usually fix this by wallowing in cacti.

 
I've merged the compopack with the mod - i added the starvation settings to the compopack mixer - the other way round doesnt work. Tis a bit laggy though.

 
Dog doesn' t eat

After my first post here in forum about MP taming dog and claim ownership issue, in few days you release the fix.

Thank you very much, happy now to see it working but....

I think still have some issue about... "breeders"

2 dogs already dead because they doesn't eat, we put dogs cookies and murky water in the breeders but they still doesn' t eat.

we follow each step in Wikidot http://starvationmod.wikidot.com/dogs1 page but still can't find any solution to it.

Hope fix this, Thank you again for fast response.

Mort please check if animals in general are not eating now. You might have seen my post about expanding a room earlier and my animals dying even though the troughs had food/water. Well I did another test. I removed my troughs and placed 2 new troughs about 7 blocks apart in a large room. Added 1000 animal feed and bucket of water to each trough. Placed a male and a female pig in the room. After several days noticed that the food wasn't being eaten. Placed a cow in the same room. After a few days the food wasn't being eaten still but the cow disappeared, probably died due to starvation. The pigs were still alive for some reason. Perhaps they have longer feeding times.

I'll go back to my original setup (1 trough) and smaller room and see if that helps.

the RSS feed on the launcher doesn't work for me, so i cant read the patch notes there. also --- I cant find the bee stuff in my menus, or the creative menu, and our server has been updated to the recent patch,.

I'm saying there is no "bee" items period. Not that we cant craft. No beehive, no bee suit parts, nothing.. our MP server is updated to 32, but we have none of the new items related to bees.

also, been trying to figure out this socketing system, I see on the wiki

If any gem is consumed, you will be informed but you wont be told what it did.

If no warning messages appear it means your gem is doing something.

--- How do we know what the gems do, if it doesnt tell us what happens?

Mort, did you guys (stealth) fix the recipes for bee-related items? Because it looks fine now! I can craft bee-related things in both the big oven and the kitchen. If there weren't any recent changes perhaps my files weren't being updated properly (I use the 7D2D installer)? Anyways now those two workstations work fine. I have yet to craft the new bee items in the science and moonshine stations though.

Still waiting for a few ingame days for the animal testing but yes I've picked up all my animals except a lonely cow.

Same place as always (well, if you're using the Advanced version of the Mod Launcher). Look in where you told Starvation to save to, and it'll be in the Saves folder. Random Gen or Navezgane, depending on your map

Is the .map file the one that holds all player data? Can I copy this, start a new world and overwrite it to the new world to have my saved character in a new map world?

 
I've had this problem with Pfsense and my sdtd servers, people can click the join friends tab and play on the server but if I am not on the server can not be found. I had a TCP/UDP rule under firewall/NAT but I found if I add 2 additional rules one for TCP and one for UDP then it works fine and friends can play any time.

Not sure why but it works thought I would share this.
