Maybe a dumb question, but with A17e in active development, is it safe to say there will be no more updates to 16.4 prior to A17 stable?

When they started A17 development at the time of A16.4 release it already was safe to say there would be no A16.5. Only a severe undiscovered bug could have prompted them to make another version.

The same will happen with A17. As soon as you hear they work on A18 you can be sure that A17 is a dead duck in the water. But still selectable from steam, which is more than you can say about a dead duck :fat:

Basically this.

Once a16.4 stable dropped, they began work on a17. No more development time was spent on 16.4 at that point.

a17 Stable is just around the corner, and 16.4 will be the old version. :smile-new:
