A gun that shoots blocks?

Hello, so i've been doing some tinkering with mods and have like 2 guns that 1 shot blocks, because i like to build things and sometimes mistakes happen. I was wondering though, do you think it's possible to make a gun that shoots (and places) blocks?

I think in order for it to happen there would need to be another ammo/weapon group made that creates blocks on target instead of causing damage. was hoping the professional modders out there could tell me if thats the general idea or not. thanks

Check out... Um... Crap... Badco and possibly valmod should have "nano blocks", that basically do what you're looking for, and then some.

edit- i can spend hours with nano terrains and an admin handgun
