Infinite Loot Trader Quest Glitch
Tested on Version: 2.4 (b7)
The Glitch:** Allows you to infinitely reset the loot and the entire building in a quest zone without completing the quest.
CRITICAL CONDITION FOR THE GLITCH TO WORK
* You must NOT take the **courier's bag** (for a clear quest) or the **stash** (for a fetch quest). The main quest item must remain untouched.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
1. Get the Quest: Accept a "Fetch Quest" from a trader.
2. Loot the Location: Go to the building marked on your map with the yellow exclamation point. Loot it completely and destroy it if you wish. **HOWEVER:** Do not activate or take the quest objective (the bag/stash).
3. Activate and Reset: After looting, approach and activate the quest objective (press "E" on the bag). The building and all the loot inside will instantly respawn.
4. Repeat the Cycle:
* Method A (Preferred): Loot everything again. If possible, move about 20 meters away to stash your loot in your storage chests. Return and activate the quest objective again.
* Method B (If your base is far): After looting, save the game and exit completely to the main menu. Load back into the world—the exclamation point will be active again. Activate the quest objective to reset the loot.
5. Loop the Cycle: Repeat step 4 as many times as you want. Be warned, the game may crash due to high RAM usage from all the respawned items.
