Found this super interesting video going over the history of game graphics. It's crazy how far we've come.

 
I remember playing FF VII on my new PS1, before that I was playing Sega Genesis. My mind was blown and till this day those are some of my fondest gaming memories.

That game is probably the only reason I still have my PS1.

Just because my Mom and Dad would not buy me an Atari 2600, all the other kids had them, lucky bastards. Just thinking about it I feel like I have been treated unfairly and I resent all those that had one and I might just sue for damages as it has left a bitter hole my life ever since, I am going to go in my closet crawl in a ball and cry for a couple of hours. Thank a lot guys for bringing up this tragic event.

Well at first, several lawns mowed later I did get one.
