XBOX 8k maps for Series S

I am sorry, I did look thru the patch notes, but, did not see that map size has been reduced for the Series S. I cannot make an 8k map anymore. Is this known?

I'm on Series X, can still make 8K maps. I wonder if you're right though, if map size has been reduced for Series S. Has it been confirmed?

Just checked again...6k.

Talked with staff about this, and had them test. 8K maps have not been removed from the Series-S.

If you do not have the available save space to make a map of that size, the screen will inform you that there is not enough space..

Here is a screenshot that I was provided with showing the message at the bottom regarding storage space. This was taken from a Series-S.

Also make sure the seed and map name is different than any you used for previous 8k maps.

And that you have it set to a new random world instead of an existing one.

that was it. once I went into the advanced settings page and typed in a world seed it worked.

Sweet, now you can travel from one side of that 8K world to the other with your

Yes, I also noticed that you can no longer create 8K maps on Series S, which is a shame. Maybe a technical limitation added recently, I hope they will clarify this.

Read the thread. It has been clarified. The only thing limiting you would be the amount of free storage available for the game.
