It would be helpful and highly beneficial to be able to fast-travel to the traders. This would have several effects: 1) A fee of 5 Dukes per meter could be charged (10m = 50 Dukes / 1000m = 5000 Dukes). 2) The landing pads at the traders' locations would serve an indirect purpose. 3) This would keep Dukes useful, especially in the endgame. 4) It might also be possible to build something at your own base to travel to the traders and back (perhaps at a 50% higher cost). 5) You might first need to hand over specific resources to the traders to "build" the landing pad and the helicopter. This would also further enhance the endgame experience.
 
teleport mods probably exist. i just use vehicles. sucks walking burdened whole day sometimes to base.. i playd this game for over a year before i found out that hypo was not bad cus it was a drug.. didnt even know what it did. i get the bicycle which i hate... hate pedaling. then i skip the minibike cus by the time i can make that.. i'm very close to motorcycle. i prefer unmodded game play tho i dont mind settings that make hud more player friendly. I'd just keep teleporting as a mod. if you dont have to walk anywhere you miss all the birdnests.. lumber and zombies traveling to get there. to me the more creative mode the game is the worse it is. i wouldnt mod chess either.
