7Days To Die cheat code RUINS THE ENTIRE ADVENTURE AND WONDER

Where's the sense in "one day I'll get that so I'll play for months or years."

Nowhere. There is no sense in that even without the cheat menu.

The real reason this waste of time exploit should be fixed is because the bug you're exploiting can also lead to loss of items and misplacement of vehicles. The broader world save happening so infrequently means that in the event of a crash and reload the player will be more or less where they last were, but vehicles may have older locations and older inventory.

Crashes may not be very common, but dedicated servers exacerbate this by not executing a world save when nobody is online. So if you just dumped a bunch of stuff into your motorcycle, rode it to a new location, then logged off... the server will save where you are at the time of log off, but if a world save hasn't happened recently and no one was online when you logged off, then a scheduled nightly restart will mean when you log back on your motorcycle won't be with you and the stuff you dropped in its inventory will be gone.

then a scheduled nightly restart will mean when you log back on your motorcycle won't be with you and the stuff you dropped in its inventory will be gone.
You probably have a poor understanding of what a scheduled restart is.
A scheduled restart results in a correct exit with all data saved.

On a dedicated server this does not work. This bug can only be used in SP.
If that is true, this is even less of a problem, and the OP really it's just spamming to get views on their YouTube video. Considering they're username and that they payed the same pay multiple times on the forum, this seems very likely.

Not by time, but by algorithm.

Apparently, in a single-player game, when autosaving, only the character is saved, but the map is not. Which is what the author of the post actually uses. And something tells me that the developers did this on purpose.
Single player saves the map data as well. But different things save at different times. Important things like character data save more often than things like vehicle location, for example. But it is still saving the changes.

During some autosaves I noticed quite a noticeable freeze. I can assume that from time to time everything is saved. I think their algorithm is something like this. Every 10 seconds the character is saved. And every 10 minutes (presumably) everything is saved entirely.
You shouldn't see freezing during saves unless you are on console or a very slow computer. If the game is on HDD, you could see freezing when the game clears unused data, but even then it shouldn't freeze during saves. I used to play the game on HDD and never had any freezing with saves. And it definitely isn't 10 minutes between Dave's for any of the data. The game is saving all the time. Even things that don't save constantly, like vehicle location, are never off by more than a minute.

If it´s only SP, it´s no wonder that it has no priority at all. But it would work on peer to peer games, no? Not a big deal there either though, because the host could simply use the creative menu.

Now that you ask, you made me think about it... Given the server remains up when you kill the client process, it probably doesn't. The Data of the transfer must be on the server instantly, otherwise you could just dupe stuff willly nilly by putting something in a box and taking it out in turns. So, it has the proper state of the vehicle, it's only a mismatch to the save data, which isn't loaded as the server remains.

Well, peer to peer isn't a server. Both sides are the normal game client, so it probably would work. But it still isn't a big deal. The host can just enable the creative menu to do the same thing.

The duplication glitch ruins the game. Instead of being forced to surviveand level up and loot you can easily duplicate everything and within less than a week reach end game. Once you have everything and have built your base(s) killing zombies becomes boring. The whole point is to be awed by finding rare loot. I was able to reach all skills maxed and all legendary weapons turrets. The temptation is there and whats the point in once you duplicate infinite cash and..well everything. So no anticipating a hunt and adventure for things its easily obtainable...

Are you serious? In a game where anyone can turn on the creative menu and draw whatever they want, start using item duplication, and with constant rebooting?

Someone seems to have too much free time.
might as well be gameshark integrated UI!
