If you are on certain countries, the discount may not show up. Apparently you can change the country and see the discount. So far, I've only seen someone say that this is true for Russia, but may be true in some other countries as well.
If you purchased the digital version through some third party rather than the official console store, the record of the purchase may not have been given to Sony or Microsoft. You might be able to try and verify with those companies that you have the digital version and see if they will apply the discount. Not sure that you will have much luck knowing them, though.
Verify you are on the same account where you purchased the game from. I would assume those sites have a purchase history you can check.
Verify you purchased the console edition from Telltale Games and not the PC version.
And if the game was purchased by someone else and given to you as a gift, the discount is probably on their account rather than yours.
I purchased it through the Microsoft store back in 2016 around Halloween time I still have saves on the game I spent some time on the game I maxed everything out and played multiple different ways i hope they didn't get it confused with the gamepass version
If you go on their Facebook page they have a drop down at the top of their page to use Facebook Messenger to message the developers directly. Don't know if it's going to work. Don't know if they're going to answer me even if they do. Don't know if they're going to give me the discount or let alone if they're going to even be polite but I said as somebody who is part of the community that wants to contribute and support the release? That of response from them on where the discount is for the people in Canada would be greatly appreciated. So if anyone else wants to reach out to the fun pimps directly. Here's a link to their page I think if we all contact them. They might get their rears in gear and actually say whether or not there's a discount for Canadians
