3rd person

I'd love a 3rd person view. I know it's possible on PC (through console commend). However, until they fix the animations and make sure aiming isn't janky, Id never use it.

Yeah 3d person mode is not very optimize for game play.

I hope they improve it eventually, I like playing games in 3d person much much more then in first person, just a personal preference 🥰.

3rd person view is not viable to allow for PVP 7d2d.

-adding it on console would be a disaster, to many console players luv pvp
Wich is the most stupid argument ever.
Personaly I wouldn't care about 3rd person on my console and I also don't care about PvP.
The mix of first person when walking and 3rd person for vehicles we have now is just good. To me it will just feel less imersive if it would be over the shoulder combat, making me watch my own back all the time instead of focusing on my targets.

Considering how infinitesimally small the PvP player base is for a PvE-designed game, this is a non-issue. You shouting "too many console players love PvP" is just incorrect. (Kind of like slapping the "Gaming" sticker on a laptop with entry-level hardware because it can play GTA-V.) It most certainly is nowhere near the number of people that love PvE, and has very little impact on planning development for a PvE-focused game.

3rd-person already exists when you unlock the developer options. It hasn't been fully fleshed out to be an active game option because they haven't finished animations, and other mechanics that would be affected by it. (Test it and you will find a number of limitations to use it in its current state.) TFP has said that they will likely be enabling it as an option once the other issues behind its use are resolved. It has been a while since I recall any of them saying anything about it though.

so your saying console players do not like pvp? i can think of many console games millions of people play pvp, call of duty, apex legends, rainbow six siege, fortnite, rust, overwatch and so on...

if i had to guess more players on console play pvp than anything else.

No. And those games are all designed for PvP. They also all exist on the PC. Many of them existed on the PC before they ever existed on the console.

I'm saying that the % of people "wanting" PvP on the console for 7 Days is not likely any different than the people wanting playing PvP on the PC version now. Which is an extremely small minority. One fact that you refuse to accept or acknowledge.

You can now stop de-railing this thread. You already have your own thread to discuss PvP vs PvE.

Stop thinking for me and other console players. You are not good at it.
