UPDATE V3.0.4

  • Tweaked forest biome spawn groups
  • Tweaked block placeholders for new crops
  • Added back guaranteed mech part from mail drop boxes when destroyed with any tool
  • Added custom quest types and rewards for Trader Nancy (credit CautiousPancake)
  • Added new plantable crops, with recipes for onions, carrots & turnips
  • removed steel shapes from crafting
  • Added new crops to loot and trader stock
  • Tweaked UI for better clarity
  • Fixed new lavender block rotation in Trader Jen's compound
  • Fixed '0%' display bug when battery/fuel for handheld items is actually 100%
  • Localization tweaks and fixes
  • Fixed bug with some vehicle deploy crates

This may or may not be save game safe. As always, back up your saves before you update, and report any issues on this forum :)

 
Currently experiencing an issue with the "supply drop" quests, the actual drop is not spawning. They worked the first 2 times but now no longer work. Nothing has changed with my game and i'm only on day 12.

I did have some issues initially with testing, but eventually they worked like they should. I'm aware there *can* be an issue, but it's hard to replicate. Sometimes a relog seems to fix it, sometimes running a few other quests in between the airdrops seems to fix them. 

I only released the update with these quests as they were working correctly for me - in the mean time, you could try the steps above.

Sorry I can't be more helpful -I'll try and track down the issue on my end and see if there's a fix, but it may take some time - as I said, it's hard to replicate.

My friends and I downloaded the Mod pack for our server and placed it in the appropriate folder, but when we start the game, it closes. We tested it offline, and it works, but it doesn’t work online.
The server run really good without the mod pack

You'd have to double check your server settings, and if you're using a hosted server, maybe reach out to the provider. 

Hard to tell what, if anything, is wrong when you say "we start the game but it just closes" 🤷‍♂️

Yes, I've had a number of people tell me this - and I've tried to reproduce the bug, but my game works just fine. Generated a brand new world to test, ran the opening challenges, intro buried supplies, and then a clear quest - no problems.

Not sure where to go from here ...

EDIT: found the bug, pushed a hotfix. Should be all good now. Sorry for the issues.

 
Legendary weapon issues

  • Laser sight not visible - no dot or beam
  • No sound - until last bullet in magazine is fire
  • No muzzle effects, can't tell if I'm actually firing a gun
  • Gun sway when aiming, with optic or iron sights
  • The "cricket" is floating in front of you, no hand or anything holding it

The melee weapons work fine however

5. The machine pistol developed this issue in v1.1. Another one I need to take a look at.

 Looks like a lot of the custom weapons have got bugs. I'll go through them and check them all, but it might take a while.

 
Have been playing on a 1.0/1.1 self hosted server for a couple weeks - love the modpack so far.

One thing we noticed, our game updated to 1.2 automatically, we rolled back to 1.1 to keep playing our existing save, the composters and sawmill we had down no longer worked (along with some of our doors). We broke them and replaced them, they started working again but now the sawmill only counts down and cuts wood while we're actively in the menu for it, and not passively through the day?

sounds like something got corrupted when the base game updated to 1.2. 

I wish there were something I could do, but it sounds like that bug might be there to stay for the rest of that particular save/playthrough. Sorry ...

I appreciate your quick reply, anyway! I'm gonna try to reinstall the mod files and see if something got deleted or misplaced.

We're loving the mod so far. Despair seems a little harder to manage with multiple people but it's really helped slow down our gameplay and make us consider what we're doing.
