 How are you able to pick all 5 rewards? You should only be able to choose 3 when after tier 5 quests. Are you using other mods in conjunction with this one?
So I removed Z better quest reward mod and went back to the same vendor that wouldn't let me complete the quest.  It did the exact same thing and wouldn't let me finish.  The only other thing I was thinking is that maybe i need a new quest to restart everything.  I will try that.

 
Hello I'm playing in a dedicated server with my friends and we add https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/6141?tab=files&file_id=21933 the parts / chasis can be craftable but the final product it self locked I'm wondering if this vehicle is not compatible ? or adding any vehicle mode disabled ? i did test this vehicle on single player no issue flying it etc . just i cant craft this in the bench


I'm afraid I don't offer support for other mods installed alongside this one. If they work - great, if they don't - sorry.

There are just too many smaller mods to be able to offer support for all of them, so your mileage will vary. 🤷‍♂️

first of all very nice mod to slow down progress extremly 🙂

We are playing with 5 persons, already played a lot of different Mods so far and now we give our best here.

However  despair is very hard from beginning so some of us getting frustrated after reaching day 16 and still die due to despair.
I know it is essential in this Mod and thats not a problem.

But even when we are eating + drinking good stuff, use one laveder oil per day, stay during night in best condtions (warmth,shelter,Well Lit) it is almost impossible to stop despair from further increase.

I would like to ask for tweaking the lavendel oil from 3 to 5 % or increase the dispair drop under best conditions from -0.5 to -0.8 or -1.

I know about the pills, but so far nothing found.

What is the experience from all the others here ?

Or are we missing something essential more to  keep it down?

Best advice I have for you. Don't use treatments while you are fulfilling your 4 needs (shelter, warmth, well lit, and on a bed) as they don't stack. Only use treatments, including food and drink when you are out and about (unless you are hungry/thirsty, then eat/drink to be above 50%)

Since you're on a server, one person needs to be a farmer, grow lots of lavender and make a handful of composters to generate fertiliser as fast as possible, you can till the ground like back in A16 and prior for 20 fertiliser per block when using a fertiliser bucket/gardening hoe.

UPDATE V2.0.7

  • Drastically lowered number of zombie spawns across biomes and gamestages.
  • Reduced scrap value of collected pictures.
  • Added various relevant zombies to "kill zombies" challenge(s).
  • Re-added the garden hoe.
  • Lowered XP gained from fertilizing terrain.
  • Reduced speed & gas tank capacity on the Ruin Runner (dirt bike).
  • (hopefully) fixed a few more bugs with item mods that require batteries/fuel.
  • Removed some old commented-out code.
  • reduced penalties on despair debuffs (thirsty, hungry, dehydrated, starving, infection, concussion, fatigue, wetness etc.)



Again, SHOULD be save-game safe, but as always, back up your save(s), just in case.

 
So, first off, really enjoying the mod.   My friends and I are up to day 38 and it's been quite a challenge.  

That said I would like to report that electric lights do not give activate the well lit status.

No "independent" light source; that is, one not held by a player, can give the Well Lit status. The reason is a little technical, but essentially, the only block that provides the buff is a campfire, forge, or chem station. 

Portable lights are different, but lights from blocks are limited to those 3 types currently.

I'm hopeful there'll be a fix that can be implemented to enable things like wall torches, lanterns and electrically powered lights to give the effect, but as it currently stands, they don't.

 
Love the mod but I hit a progression wall by not being able to get a cooking pot. Couldnt boil water, couldnt hydrate, couldnt make lavender oil - you get the point. I thought traders sold cooking pots?!

Traders don't sell them, but there are TONS of POI's that have them. Just gotta look ... :)

How can I make my flashlight and night vision goggles not turn on when I get out of my car/motorcycle/bike or get in them? How can I make it so that the radiation shielding buff doesn't disappear when I get into a car/motorcycle/bike. I have to take off and put on my clothes every time I get in or out of the car. I have to turn off the flashlight every time. It's really annoying.

Both of these are known bugs, and are already fixed. Will be part of the next release.

Thank you very much for the reply. I'm looking forward to updating the mod. This is the best mod I've seen in a while. I've been looking for such a difficult game for a long time and now I've found it!

 
I'm sorry for another question, but is this mod installed only on the server or does the client also need to install it?

Yeah I play perma and my first playthrough was doomed because I couldnt find one. Second playthrough going well, but that can soon change as I'm just about to begin day 7 horde xD

QUICK NOTE/UPDATE.

If you have updated to the latest stable build of the base game, please remove the two folders named WMMTraderQuestMap and WMMTraderQuestMapFix.

This modlet is broken in v1.1.

It will be/can be re-added when it's updated for the current stable build.

 
1. The longer I play with this mod, the more problems I see. The most important problem is the power of lavender treatment. The effect of lavender is not able to heal at night. The power of the night debuff is too high. We are playing with a game time equal to 3 hours of real time. In fact, are you suggesting that we sit at home around the campfire for 1 hour of real time? This is nonsense! We tried to use a lot of lavender, more than +50% buff, but it doesn't help. Despair builds up too fast. It is impossible to survive in the Blood Moon! I understand that this mod was created for a game without a Blood Moon? Because it is impossible to play with it even if you set 1.5 hours of real time.

2. Why haven't you made a mini patch yet to get rid of the problems with turning on/off flashlights, torches and buff on the radiation shield? Why wait for a global update if you can make a couple of mini patches so that people can continue to play without these problems? After all, it really gets in the way and is annoying!

I don't see any other problems that greatly interfered with the game or it would be impossible to fix them myself. These two points are so much in the way that we decided to stop our passage with this mod for now.
