The only problem with that logic is that it used to also happen if drove through a puddle. And a compelling argument for not being able to pick up vehicles! Drive it into the lake? Fix it your damn self!
I usually can back out of them without picking up the vehicle. Usually we don't pick up vehicles anyway. And you can only pick it up if its storage is empty anyway. The only problem with that logic is that it used to also happen if drove through a puddle.![]()
I was referring to what used to happen with vehicles. You'd hit any water, even a few inches deep in some cases, and your vehicle would stop dead and not move on its own again. If I'm remembering correctly you couldn't pick it up and instead had to disassemble the thing as well as take anything in storage (or watch it all fall to the ground as you take the basket off the back). It was a mess.I usually can back out of them without picking up the vehicle. Usually we don't pick up vehicles anyway. And you can only pick it up if its storage is empty anyway.
Another solution: Don't drive through puddles.
So if you dump your 4x4 into a lake or a (nitrogen) crack or got stuck in the mountains, either take the effort and build ramps or dig until you can DRIVE the vehicle back out, or count the vehicle as lost and build a new one.
With all the bugs in the game, where vehicles fall through the ground or fly up into the sky, I'm glad I can pick up vehicles.Boidster said:And a compelling argument for not being able to pick up vehicles! Drive it into the lake? Fix it your damn self!
I remember more than once losing a bike, building a new one, and then finding the old one slightly underground or just reappearing randomly. Also lost more than a few permanently. With all the bugs in the game, where vehicles fall through the ground or fly up into the sky, I'm glad I can pick up vehicles.
I have lost several minibikes due to bugs in the Alpha 15.
yes leaving just the chassis there, that was a16Maharin said:I was referring to what used to happen with vehicles.
