PC 2.0 Sandstorm and what looks like bees?

I actually like the sand storm.  But I don't like the dessert spitter attack at all.  It looks awful and it's just a copy of other games that also did it (and also looked awful).  Plus, being able to hit it?  No thanks.  I'll probably have to mod that zombie out entirely unless someone can mod a different attack for it.  I really like the zombie... just not the attack.

I don't mind the attack but damn on horde night he's going to be scary for bad reasons

I don't think it'll show up for Horde Night. The Mutated and Burnt zombies don't appear during horde night, and have been confirmed to be the Special Zombie for the Wasteland and Burnt Forest respectively, so I'm guessing that'll remain the same for the Desert Spitter and the Frostclaw.

Yeah, I have a feeling they won't be there on horde night.  Though I think there should be a game option to allow all zombies to appear during horde nights (still based on game stage).  Or, at the very least, make it so the zombies appear if you're in their biome.  So if you're in the snowy forest, you'll see the frostclaw, or if you're in the wasteland, you'll see the radiated, etc.

Pretty sure they're flesh flies and not bees, btw.

Mm-hmm, the same goes for the lab equipment female zombie, likely due to the dangling hand (and therefore performance based reasons behind the decision).

Oh snap that's right, for some reason it never clicked for me that the female science zombies don't appear in blood moon hordes.

I am one of those weirdos that missed the giant hornets because they were a honey source. Any chance this guy drops honey on rare occassions? I mean if they are a walking flying insect hive.

Why not honey...

It certainly would motivate me to want to fight them vs avoid them.

I rather would have seen a really impactful weather overhaul than some artificial biome specific threat that has "i am a videogame mechanic" written with huge neon letters all over it. At this point i am sure they are testing mechanics for new games instead of trying to make this really fit into this game.

FYI: Wheater IS biome specific. Blizzards on the pole's, sandstorms in the Sahara, cinderstorms in California.
That's not videogame, that's real world.

I am talking about heat, cold and being wet. That needs an overhaul to actually have an impact. The whole being wet isn´t even slightly recognizable, it could be deleted out of the game and people would only notice because the icon is gone.

We don´t need some weird biome specific magic storms.
