PC 16k vs 8k maps

I apologize if this has already been discussed.

It seems that 16k maps have the same amount of stuff (POIs) as the 8k maps, just further apart.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I think it just depends on the seed.

16K map seed = Metropolis ( I have yet to see a map with this may POIs , you can hardly find a spot on the map where you can stand and not see a structure. The amount of buildings on this one is cray-zee. You could turn off loot respawning and it would take you forever to clear it all out. ) The same Seed on an 8K map is horrible and unplayable.

 
Yeah depends on seed i think, some appear the same as 8k but more spread out. Metropilis seems to scale up nicely, not that many do. One of the quirks of rwg it seems.

 
Good to know. Guess I had a run of bad seed names. Thanks for the info and the Metropolis seed. Will give it a try.

 
have the same problem: 16k seeds seems have much empty areas and feels like 8k is better as not so much empty space

 
Piss Off is another decent one with a good biome spread too and a couple pois i've never seen before, 8k maps are just too small when you get to vehicles.

Decent 16k maps are few and far between ,Metropolis and a few others being the best of the bunch. Really hope rwg gets some love in the next update.

 
You should probably just play on Navezgane on A17, the RWG is pretty broken. Allegedly it's being worked on and might come out in a patch.
