PC 150 Stamina Water not showing? A17.1 B9

[QOUTE]To improve stamina players now start with 150 food which is now shown in the hud and menu to communicate you can overeat and not waste food.

So... Either my game is having issues or I don't understand this.

Where do you see this? I still see 100 for health and Stamina. I go to my character screen and look at the full detail stats tab, where you can see food, water, temperature, etc, and it's all maxed at 100.

What am I missing here? What am I supposed to be seeing?

Verified, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared all save data, cleared left over files before reinstalling in steamapps.

 
There should be a popup that appears above the bars and you'll see the numbers counting up. The popup disappears after a few seconds so you can't really continue to see it.

 
Ah. Thanks Roland! Had some other odd stuff happening and I don't think I've even had a drink in game yet. Like 8 game hours into this save. Totally misunderstood the descriptions in release notes.
