(1.4)The Wasteland

Hello i am struggling a bit how do i find main mutants base? Currently i found only weird town composed of different builduings related to Wasteland and mutants: warehouses, wooden Crack-A-Book, medical one, one shop with radiation sources and nuke in front, builduing with underground bunker(having loot in last room with bunch of enemies) etc etc. Different mutants keep spawning around constantly(but only regular for some reason with different weapons). Sometimes they fight with zombies, animals, i killed so many of them

Not really sure what you mean. There is a mutant town that can spawn where every POI plus biome spawns there will be mutants only mostly. Then there are other POIs that can spawn anywhere that have mutants in them. There is no "main" mutant base though there are a few bigger POIs they inhabit.

Hmm i saw in creative mode test tubes  with virus and seems like it should be processed on different stations to be used for what(?). Never found how this is done and where are that stations. Also as i know there is possibility to craft(?) collar to control mutant.

Btw i have little suggestion: seems like power armor is pretty easily can be obtained from raiders - my friend killed shooters with simple rifle and then finished rest and looted first power armor very early. Maybe add special perk to be able wearing it or just do not allow to get it below loot level X? Where X should be big enough so you already went past regular armor sets. Right now there is low motivation to craft regular sets of armor because you just get power armor and go kill every enemy you see. Also i have suggestion to add radiation to the wasteland so it's impossible to loot high tier locations without special protection(maybe also add one in mod?)

I can look at balancing it. Maybe have Q1 power armor all you'll usually get early on and have it not be as good as it is currently. I don't wanna make it impossible to get early game though. I'd have to remove all the power armor stands to do that really, and I'm not interested in that.

Not making the entire wasteland radiated. 2.0 is gonna basically do that for each biome, though I'm not sure if I will keep it in the mod or not. Will have to see how I like it. I may make more radiated POIs like I already have and just make most of them wasteland only POIs.

We are trying to find where to go to start the questline to get a mutant follower. We are thinking its in the Nav-Tech POI but unsure. Any tips or hints as where to find the quest?

It is in that POI. It is like an unmarked quest. There isn't a proper full on quest you get and follow, you just have to figure out the steps to do it.

there's two type of mutant follower, one is the mutant named Guy, and the other is common mutant that we can put armors on. 
the mutant Guy can be found in a large junk scrapyard POI that only have mutant enemies in it, i usually find it in the wilderness, not in a city. it's in the underground of that junkyard, kill the boss and you can recruit Guy that was held in a cage using the boss head item. (but sometime Guy is not in the cage, maybe it's a random spawn thing? dunno)
the common mutant follower can be found in a factory-like POI, it doesn't look like lab but like a common factory, contain all mutant enemies too as well, the lab itself is located underground of that factory, so yeah need to find the hidden path to that underground lab. (it's an elevator).

all these stations can be found in the underground lab of the mutant factory

I don't think there is a way currently to get one yourself. I made a note and I'll get them at least added to Johnny's inventory.
Can't i just use prefab editor or something? I found out that some prefabs contains PowerArmorStand and it's impossible to edit that prefabs to remove them?

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you were wanting to take them from those POIs so you could have one at your base. Yeah, if you just want them removed you can open them in the POI editor and remove the stand helper blocks.

 
I was driving my vehicle through the desert trying to find a supply drop today. Suddenly, I was at the bottom of a lake! No, I didn’t drive into it, I was instantly at the bottom of it. Had to leave my vehicle before I drowned. Don’t know how I’ll get it or myself out, as this lake is surrounded by steep cliffs. Looking at the map (I’ll grab a screenshot later), it appeared I teleported forward a good distance for no apparent reason.

Also, there was a vulture flying around underwater.

 
No idea. Likely not really a mod issue though. Seems like the game maybe chugged hard for a second and shot you forward. If you had nothing of note in your log I can't really offer more than that. What specs does your PC have?

Small update to fix a few NPC quest issues.

Also note: The torch now has a power attack, so to complete the Place A Torch challenge, craft a wall torch block and place it, that should complete the challenge. You can them pick up and scrap that block to get your torch back if needed.

Can gamepass and pc play this mode at the same time?

I would think so. Not real familiar with the gamepass version, I know it has some differences but as long as it can run mods you should be fine. I think when using that version you have to install mods in the Appdata location rather than the game install itself.
