Can't just expect mods to work with an overhaul. DZ likely overwrites some xml. Not sure how vehicles work in that mod. All I can say is maybe rename my mod's folder and add a Z to the beginning of it so it loads after DZ and that might fix it. If it doesn't you're gonna have to ask Zilox about it.

So I am running a server on 1.3 b9 and the mod doesn't seem to be working. I added the mod folder to the server as well as my own game client and nothing in the game has changed. I don't see any of the vehicles if I search in the workbench or inventory. I'm not sure what went wrong

Good deal. Yeah, Git and Nexus like to add an extra top folder for whatever reason. Just always double check that the folder you drag into your Mods folder has a modinfo.xml directly inside it. The game won't search deeper than that folder for the modinfo.xml and if it doesn't see it the mod won't be loaded.
Is there a way to get the handling of the vehicles to be similar or the same as the vanilla vehicles? for example the motorcycle can do 180 degree turns with enough speed, but the vehicles in the mod have a much larger turning radius. I looked into the configs on the mod and original and the steering values are for the most part, the same. So I am not sure what I would need to edit in order to achieve the same handling as the original vehicles.

All I wanted to change is the turning radius of the vehicles, and also the backend is unstable. Handles almost like its on ice. I changed the steering angles and torque and everything to the vanilla values and they still handle the same so I'm not sure what code to edit.

Would have to be changed in Unity, xml doesn't really control any of that. I may make some tweaks when updating them for 2.0, but no promises. They turn well enough to me if you just aren't going max speed all the time. Doing 180s on a motorcycle is silly to me anyway. At any type of speed you'd just die. Lol.

Sorry if i break some rules - didn't want to do this, for real. I don't want to seat on forums, anyway, so i'll dont bother you more than it needs.
Anyway: Bdub's model of BRDM-2 inspired me to create my own model of BRDM-2 - BRDM-2A (inpresice copy with creative addictions). I spend enough time for creating it, and it would be great if you use it (instead/with - don't matter) in your mod. It's free - anyone could download it for anything he want, so you don't lose anything. I don't want to create my own mod, because i don't play in 7dtd too much and will not update such mod, but you still could use it for distribution, or donat gathering - i don't care for what.
My nickname on Sketchfab is Arling. I would not send link - in case of breaking some rules or some hearts. Anyway you'll find there a lot of models which you could use, if you want
Hope, moderators don't delete this message, because it's painless for anywone, i think.
Sorry for language - it's foreign for me.
can't import image of BRDM-2, sorry. Don't know why

It's a bit higher poly than I would usually use, but I may run it through Unity and get it in game and see if it makes any difference to performance. If I add it to the mod I will likely add it alongside the current BRDM-2 I have, so players could choose.
