My arse. How is $39.99 a "low price?"
I get why people who payed $5-$15 for the game don't understand the frustration of people who paid $40 for it. Not everyone paid what you did though. A lot of us got ripped off and have a right to be angry about the minimal resources TT/IG/TFP have allocated to fixing/finishing this game.
If any of the responsible parties would do the right thing and offer me a refund, I'd happily shut up and go away. They won't though.

I can understand the frustration of everybody who paid about 40$, but everybody did this voluntarily as well. But there is no point in complaining, they give us what we want now and we should be happy with this. Be looking forward to the update and join the good spirit.
Low price
Compairitively 40$ is a low price for a game whereas some games easily exceed 70$ and do no offer ongoing free content. And speaking from personal experience porting from program code to another is far from easy often leading to code hitches that require each line of code (potentially millions of lines) to be reinspected time and time again to find the erronious line or line segment, besides being an alpha release there will be many hiccups, delays and need of polish I bought it knowing the inherent chance of issues with alphas.

The Fun Pimps are not making the game for console. Another company is doing that. If you have issues with how far behind you are you should tell Telltale Games about it, since they are the company working on the port, not The Fun Pimps.
The Fun Pimps are making an excellent game. It isn't their fault if the company they got to port the game for console is sucking.
Oh, and the game retails for twenty five bucks. The game that The Fun Pimps are making. Not their fault if you pay 175% of that price to a different company.

I always think it's funny when people toss the PMCR (PC Master Race) card out there. Of cource PC's are better than consoles. Of course they do more.
After playing the console version for a long time, I got the PC version too. (Actually, first I played it for a couple of weeks using family sharing from a friend, then I bought it.) The difference is amazing. I can understand though why we don't have some of it on the console. My PC is light years ahead of the console, but still had some struggles with playing the PC version until I adjusted the settings correctly.
I do look forward to the update, and I really do wish that they would tell us more about what they have planned. I don't really expect them too though. The console developers don't typically share until something is nearly ready for release. Even the latest push with "Alpha" releases on the PS4 is more like just a free Beta version.

If you sold a product for consoles, getting our money, you must compromise to sell a quality product, offering the same as the pc version, if not, please, don't do it... That's all that we need to say...

Yeah if its the same game on PC and Console %99 of the time the PC is going to be better that's because a PC cost 5x more than a console and its just a lot more powerful and a lot of PC games can be modded not many console games can.. But one thing a PC can't do that a PS4 can is play all the best games like GOW , Last of Us , on and on and on

TFP collaborates with Iron Galaxy and their name is credited in every game sold for console so it is inaccurate to say that TFP has nothing to do with the console version. When the update comes if it has new content guess who provided the code for the new content to Iron Galaxy to port over?
However, what TFP cannot do is refund a console game because publishing and distribution of the console game is solely overseen by Telltale games. The only way to obtain a refund for any game is to work with the vendor from whom you bought it at retail (they ARE the ones with your billing info after all) or to seek recompense from the publisher of the game.
TFP has said that it wants to bring the console and PC versions as close as they can be to equivalency. I don’t think they will be able to do EVERYTHING that the PC version will be able to do but more conte t is coming to console according to Clare so they are still working towards that goal.

See here’s the thing. I already feel I have a quality product on the console. This game has given me about 600hrs worth of enjoyment and entertainment and I am sure I will get more. IG could do nothing else to the game and I would still be a very pleased customer. There are things I hope they don’t add from the PC version.
I do understand there are those that don’t feel the same and have had a different experience than I have had. There are also those that feel the same. I’m glad this game was ported and there are other PC ports I’m hoping to see in the future even if the game is missing some of the things PC had that won’t work based on console limitations.

I’ve said it 100 times this is a great game unique and interesting, I feel for the people that have xbox md5 issues but.... they are trying to fix it, it’s not as simple as it sounds, it takes time, and yes we are lucky enough that they work and update the game for free.. be patient... play another game... go get your money back.... any of the above just stop with the negative s**t and leave the forum free for genuine fans and so we can get our news without scrolling thru 10 pages of mindlessness

TFP is devoloping the game for PC which is still in alpha development, is getting ready to release A17, and is not a completed game. At around A14.7 Telltale games went to them and said that they liked what TFP had and wanted to release that as a complete game for consoles. Telltale then hired Iron Galaxy to port the complete game. The console version is no longer in development as it is a complete game. They all would like it to get as close to a match to what the PC has but might not be possible. TFP creates and adds to the PC game as they see fit, as they should. Iron Galaxy ports over what they can but as we bought a complete game are under no obligation to add more content unless that is in the agreement originally for the publishing rights between TFP and Telltale.
Content also is not sent to be ported unless TFP is done working on it. PC will always get content first. TFP is not working on the console version except to help out every now and again. IG will only try to add things after TFP deems it stable and finished on PC version, code is sent over, and consoles are able to handle it.
