LittleRedSonja Fancy Zombie Variants 1.2.0

"Fancy Zombie Variants" adds 82 new variants for the each "tier" of the vanilla zombies (standard, feral, radiated, charged and infernal), for a total of more than 360 new zombie variants, to make your game more colorful and diverse.

It also randomizes the walking type for humanoid vanilla zombies, except for the Spider zombie and the Demolitioner, for even more fun (you can very easy disable this feature if you want).



This mod DOES NOT replace the vanilla zombie variants, but ADDS ON TOP OF THEM.

It is compatible with every other mod I am aware of, even mods that adds new zombies or edit zombie stats and even most overhauls, as long they do not delete the vanilla zombies (for obvious reasons ).

This mod does not have any other requirements and can be used right away without having to download or install any other mod.



High quality textures employed, but optimized for best game performance.

The pictures only show a very few of the variants.

Since mod version 1.1.0 there are 2 version of the mod:

- FULL QUALITY VERSION: This is the version for you if you do not mind a bigger file size and your computer can handle higher quality textures. The textures have the highest resolution and this version will offer the best possible graphic quality.

- BALANCED VERSION: This is the version for you if you want a smaller file size, and you want good quality textures but balanced to offer the highest possible FPS.

Most people will not be able to see a significant difference in terms of quality or FPS between BALANCED and FULL QUALITY versions.
Low end or old computers will benefit from slightly higher FPS with the BALANCED version.
People playing in powerful computers will not see any difference in FPS but instead will enjoy higher quality textures with the FULL QUALITY version.



The zombies will naturally spawn in the world, in vanilla POIs, modded POIs, wandering hordes and even Horde Night.

- Adds Charged and Infernal for all the variants.
- Adds many new cool variants for Utility Worker, Steve, Darlene, Lumberjack, Fat Cop, Biker, Marlene, and Yo.
- This increases the number of new variants in the mod to 82 for each "tier" of zombies (standard, feral, radiated, charged and infernal), so around 360 new variants in total for your game.
- Fixes variant zombies sometimes changing to a vanilla variant after dismemberment.
- Slightly reduces the brightness of all the new variants.
- Big rework to optimize textures as much as possible for best balance quality - performance.
- Smaller file size.
- Keeps compatibility with both V1 and V2 of the game.


Frequently asked questions:

1- Is your mod compatible with X, Y or Z mod? : Yes, this mod should be compatible with the vast majority of other mods and even overhauls. If you have a mod or overhaul that deletes all the vanilla zombies then this mod will not work, for obvious reasons. Other than that, it is compatible with every other mod and overhaul I am aware of and, if by any chance you find a mod that is not please, let me know and I will be more than happy to make them compatible if possible .

2- Can the mod be used server side only?: No. Since it includes custom assets, the mod needs to be installed in both the server and players computer for multiplayer game. if you play solo instead of multiplayer then you install the mod as usual.

3- Does the mod require EAC to be turned OFF? No, this mod can be use with both EAC ON or OFF, it does not matter.

4- Will you add X, Y or Z to the mod?: We are always open to suggestions or requests .
