Please reconsider how to handle the JaWoodle thing.

I made this account to express my disagreement with how The Fun Pimps have reacted to the events which happened TO JaWoodle. He's done a lot to promote the game, and current handling of the situation does not sit well with me. While I understand the desire to retain secrecy regarding remarkably dangerous nuggets of knowledge about things like C*****N C***S (which I am excited for, however, note the sarcasm), please consider that cat left the bag eons ago and what's done is done. Who did it? The Fun Pimps, on accident. Who's suffering for it? JaWoodle. Not cool. Respectfully, The Fun Pimps are currently out of line. Out of pocket. Call it what you want, but please seek a better, more human path forward in this affair.

TFP made a mistake. Jawoodle made a CHOICE to find and spawn bandits that he knew wasn't ready to be public. He CHOSE to record all of this. He CHOSE to post a video about and make money with it on his PERSONAL CHANNEL. He CHOSE to make the bait title and thumbnail. He CHOSE to deny editing the video when requested respectfully by TFP.

It doesn't matter if he's promoted the game in some fashion. He's also done a lot to cause issues, like the review bomb from 2.0 and the current one. He's also likely a big reason why the 7DTD community is so insanely toxic and ridiculous.

TFP are not out of line in the slightest. Their reaction is neither an underreaction or an overreaction, it's totally reasonable. Jawoodle is the one who chose to commit a petty crime and burn his relationship for some extra cash. The fact that so many of you are going out of your way to make accounts to defend him only shows that you can't think for yourselves.

all he had to do was either delete it or edit it he refused cause he knew he would get click bait and lot sof money for it by falsely advertising something knowingly that wasnt gonna be in the game..

so this is all on him
 
And he continues to try to make money off his choice by getting people to keep spouting his sob story in order to get people to go check out his videos to see what the fuss is about. But in the end, he'll likely lose more money than he's made through his choices. It's unlikely that he'll be allowed to be part of streamer weekends going forward and I have a feeling he'd make more money on those than whatever he's made with this. This just brought in money faster, but is likely going to be less overall. Either way, he made a choice. Choices have consequences. He's now facing those consequences. You don't get to avoid consequences just because you feel like it.

FFS He did not cause the "■■■■ storm"...he gets blamed for it.

His content is 99.99% super pro TFP...he made one vid that criticised them...about 2.0. which was already deeply unpopular on launch.
and it SEEMED to open a flood gate...because people felt like they had not been heard by TFP in years.
He did not encourage people to attack TFP. He did not encourage people to change their steam reviews. IF HE HAD YOU COULD BLAME HIM.

It wasn't his complaint that caused TFP to address the community...it was the steam reviews. You can go back thru the forums if you want to. You can go check his vids around 2.0 if you want to. You don't have to take my word for it. They knew about all of the things people were saying...they just didn't address them because it didn't affect their bottom line. the reviews were still good, so their money was still good, so they just kept ignoring the complaints.

TFP made a mistake sending out the "wrong" build...then compounded it...then compounded it again. these self owns are not fun to watch. they're not really confidence inspiring either.

Perhaps the dozens, if not hundreds of people whom have created accounts this week only to come here, and express dissent for TFP actions are evidence to the contrary. I have read your previous posts. You are not bringing anything of substance other than your opinion. Which is fine, and the same as the rest of us. Perhaps rather than attacking your fellow gamers, like myself, you inquire as to why we feel this way. I assume neither of us work for, or have financial interest in JaWoodle nor TFP / BI, at least I don't, do you? If that's the case why attack someone who is just a gamer like you? It's possible we can find common ground.

nah all woodle had to do was remove the vid or edit but he saw a way to make money and the deceive people like you to give him more money and on top of that pay money for his lawyers even tho he will lose and lose more money then what he can get so in the end editing a vid or removing the vid when he knew and falsely led people to believe his video is a him issue..

You are quick to be on woodles side when he 100% is in the wrong and milking his viewers for every cent they have in deceiving them into giving gim money. He has no leg to stand on go ask a real lawyer and then see all these people sending money which won't even be used on lawyers but pocketed ty suckers in woodles voice I hear it now

You come here sticking up for him he deceived the community he deceived his viewers itbwas a simply ok I will remove or edit thing the whole situation would a been handled.

I would also go one further if i were tfp and get him to refund everyone's money whom fell for his deceit

I get that this is rage bait but i gotta ask: What have you added to anything that has any substance? You literally made this account an hour ago and the only posts you got are about woodle. People have been expressing their "dissent" to TFP for over a decade. 95% of the grievances people have are totally fictional and out of context. TFP gets enormous amounts of hatred for doing normal things and it's sickening to see how dishonest a lot of users are. If they actually did bad things then sure, but they don't. People take every chance possible to exaggerate and go hog wild; this crap is no different.

My fellow "gamers" have been acting way more foul than anything TFP has shown times a million. I've seen some insanely rude and cruel things people have said about TFP over the years and it's completely unfounded. My opinion on TFP is fairly neutral; they made a game i love and haven't tried to charge me for anything extra. They haven't been political or obnoxious and have done nothing to hamper my experience. My opinion of my fellow gamers/the community couldn't be lower, and for good reason.

Why would you have financial interest in a youtuber? What is that even supposed to mean? Do you honestly think everyone who posts is doing so because of money? I've never had any personal stock in TFP as a company, and my behavior has never been about defending them so much as defending basic logic and reason. I have no common ground with users that only exist because a youtuber is being punished appropriately for his own actions.

But plx, provide some evidence of a single viewer that has lost every single cent they had to Woodle, and we might discuss.

Before that, know you're in the category of "not even wrong" ...

I'm expressing my opinion, the same as you. I need not provide anything of substance. I'm simply saying that we don't need to fight each other, and no, my post was not rage bait. I knew you would argue that as a viewer I monetize him, but you could say that of literally anyone who posts online these days, including TFP. I've been playing this game since 2016 and have 3k hours. I am well aware of TFP history. I just don't see this as a good move to demonstrate solidarity with their community. Your opinion of gamers may be low, but without gamers, games don't exist.
