V2.5 Survival Revival Dev Diary

I still have many folks in the comments asking about fixes for the console versions. Any news I can relay to these folks?
When 2.6 goes stable, they will get the update like PC/Mac/Linux will.

Merging just started 2 days ago. We have dozens of changes moved over, but there are probably a few more to come. It then takes several days of testing and fixing any issues to make sure an exp is not going to have some nasty bug in it.

Can you give us any inkling about what is in 2.6? Chicken coops, perhaps?
 
i have always had a sneaking suspicion that there is some kind of... monitoring(?) that is built in that rewards you for top tier, smart ■■■■ moves.
like a 360 no scope or a whole mag of head shots or whatever.
i have no science to back it up but my feeling is you get more loot bags when you headshoot a z when you are jumping or falling. although i do fall a lot...
dropped a grenade on one of those trailers with body bags and crawlers that are common outside of traders, ie rekt and got 3 loot bags. 3 out of 4 crawlers. in the forest biome. hmmmmmm
consider one of the survival rewards is to get so many leather with specifically a stone axe from couches or whatever. thats pretty specific, and therefore quite 'monitored' ......
are there some sneaky easter eggs out there?
 
2.6 surprise : Turds are back and found in various Toilets and the occasional vending machine...Now with new smell mechanic! Throw them at friends and watch the hilarity ensue!
