Thanks for the reply. It has been 2+ years since I've played, so maybe the intertia was implemented sometime in the last couple years and I'm just now experiencing it for the first time? I've played since A13 and have always stopped exactly when I wanted to stop so this is new to me. I'm playing a SP game with just me, good gaming laptop running stuff on Ultra with a steady 120+ FPS. My network is nothing to write home about, around 120Mb Up/25Mb down with good latency. If I'm playing single player does the network come into play at all in a way that could cause lag? Perhaps the EAC telemetry? I can record a video if you'd like, to show you that there's no way this much overtravel would be intended, let me know.
