Darker nights(Pitch black!)

Hi guys, is there any way to reduce ambient light at nights for multiplayer, like setting it from xml so it can be locked to all players? I manage to get pitch black using screen effect and tweaking worldglobal.xml but that comes with some sacrifice like losing contrast etc...On some old alphas as i remember you could set gamma from console but forgot the command, is that still working?

Some examples from current setup:
(this is single player with ingame brightness also set to minimum)

Look for darker nights on nexus
There is nothing even close to this, all that modlets are from worldglobal.xml, only by that it's not possible to get realistic nights sadly...I search everything, never seen any mod that can change and lock gamma on servers...

I've not tried it, but if you go to Options>Video in your game settings, you can decrease the gamma. Supposedly if it's below 50, your nights get darker and darker.

That's good to some point but only for single play, u cant force that setting to all clients because it is individual for each player. I working on mod so everyone need to install it and have same expiriance at night...

Not sure if this helps, but I’ve played a bit of the Rebirth Mod and it had total darkness at night, pretty much like what you’re describing. It’s a full overhaul mod, but maybe checking how they handle lighting could give you some ideas or a reference for achieving that effect in multiplayer

I finished it, it's called 'Horror Nights', there is 2 versions with fog and without, the one without fog will be insanely dark. Some values are editable via xml...
