If you just scroll up a little the chat pauses.

EXACTLYIt needs some love that one problem.
Bears and wolves in forest biomes are something very usual in real live, no idea why it was removed, forest became like a walk in the park during a morning coffee hour.

They should do the forums. And have a filter for spam aka me lmaoRegarding the Town Hall and Twitch, I'd like to point out that Twitch Chat moves way to fast for anyone to read it, so if this Town Hall is going to involve questions from the audience then some additional technology is probably going to be needed or questions would have to be submitted in advance. Otherwise, practically speaking, it will be a presentation of topics they select based on what they've perceived to be issues.
agreed...they should answer some questions IN THE FORUMThey should do the forums. And have a filter for spam aka me lmao
I have only ever used Twitch to watch 7 Days Dev Streams but, IIRC, it only auto-advances if you are scrolled to the bottom.I don't seem to remember that working well. Doesn't it continue when you let go?
I remember around A15 or A16 a threads were created for everyone to ask questions and get an answer on a stream and went really well. They should do the forums. And have a filter for spam aka me lmao
3 Take it or leave itI remember around A15 or A16 a threads were created for everyone to ask questions and get an answer on a stream and went really well.
Glad you mentioned that, an idea that should be brought back !
Ok, for you 2 questions max, mister![]()

No ideawhen did they remove the roadmap from the site?
An update about the future of the game is upcoming. They do listen feedback.when did they remove the roadmap from the site?
I am pretty sure this is going to be about the 2.0 stuff and how they want to improve the experience for people who seem to mostly not be fans of it. I don't think it'll be about new stuff like what you're suggesting.Personally, I want to see more decor crafts, the same doors. Improvements for RWG in the form of locations near the water that are in Navezgane. Adding ports and piers would not be superfluous (maybe some flooded caves) I remembered about the tunnel from Navezgane, it is good
From my experience, this only works for a short time. If chat is very busy, it'll start scrolling after a very short time.If you just scroll up a little the chat pauses.
it was me...I said That since he IS the guy who talks on here, he should maybe be on the stream if he was asked and wanted to. I would prefer it if the guy building it did some or maybe most of the talking. I believe he does know himself. lol. seriously though, a lot of people have pointed out to me that maybe Rick, Joel and Lathan are not really "involved" directly anymore. I don't know if that is true, I find it kinda hard to believe, but, not my words....still...faatal is the best person to speak about his work, again, a lot of people told me how important he actually is, and here I am saying they are right.I am pretty sure this is going to be about the 2.0 stuff and how they want to improve the experience for people who seem to mostly not be fans of it. Anyhow, taking questions on the forum ahead of time and then answer at least some of those on the stream is the best option for a stream that is very fast like this will probably be. For a slower stream, you can have the stream moderator(s) grab questions and add them to a shared document the streamer(s) can read from. That's usually done by asking people to type QUESTION in caps at the beginning of the line so it stands out for the moderators to grab. But it's not great if the chat is scrolling very quickly. In those cases, using an external option like this forum to gather questions ahead of time works best.
I really hope that they take questions ahead of time rather than trying to read the chat to answer questions like they've tried (and failed) to do in the past. I also really hope they get sound and video working ahead of time and test connections with everyone who is taking part (Joel, Rick, etc.).
And although I didn't grab a quote about it, there was a comment about faatal being part of the stream. I thought he was part of one of the 1.0 dev streams, though I might be remembering incorrectly. It would be nice to see him be part of it since he's one of the main ones actually doing a lot of the work they will probably be talking about. But the end result will probably be the same either way... we'll get the same answers, no matter who says them.
Just, please... NO DATES!
The roadmap is irrelevant since it's out of date. They will talk about 3.0 and 4.0 when it's time to do so.I still see it here: https://7daystodie.com/2024/04/ and on X.
You can go in game and choose Credits and you'll know exactly what title everyone has.it was me...I said That since he IS the guy who talks on here, he should maybe be on the stream if he was asked and wanted to.
