PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

So... cosmetic DLC, uh?
No new content, just beautiful handcrafted cosmetics.

Let me be clear here: Doesn't matter if you put it at 30 bucks or 900, I'll still buy them all to support you guys. Right now they might be cosmetic, in the future we could see new awesome things, though that could result in different multiplayer instances that separate between those with the content and those without.

I just love that you finally get some rewards from all the hard work and passion that you guys put into this product over the years.

I'm still in debt with you for all the hours you gave me with my friends and loved ones.

Now, don't go imagining the speech above in Rekt's voice.

I can’t even read it in your voice when you don’t mention bears or blimps.
 
My take on the dlc....I'm in! For this game, I'm in. I even bought all the dlc skin packs on the PS4. The detention squad and all the walking dead skins.

On PS4, I got it on pre order so I only paid around $24 I believe. I don't remember what I paid for on PC, I came in at alpha 18.4. I think I paid the full $25 price tag (price at the time) then too.

I've MORE than got my monies worth and then some.

So go ahead Pimps, release more dlc.....I triple dog dare ya! ✊
 
What does everyone have there storm frequently on mine is set to 100% and what is is everyone else’s

Also left my zombies on every 7 days and my game is on normal difficulty too and 120 mins of 24 hour cycle and 18 hours of sun too

Is this okay thanks 🙏

Or should I change my mins of 24 hours to 60 mins

Please help 🙏🙏

Simple. If you don't know whether you need to change it, then keep it at default.

Nobody can tell you the settings that YOU ultimately will have the most fun with, but default is the starting point because this is the way the game is meant to be played.

I've been leaving it mostly on default because of testing, and getting a feel for how the devs intended it.

My hardcore game will have 300% for the first run. I'll probably do permadeath with 500% after some mods like Improved Hordes are updated.

Dude play however you want, whatever is fun to you.

I keep everything default settings except for 90 min cycles, 18 hour days, and drop only back pack on death.

Im not sure if I'd like the storms above the default 100%. They are a cool concept but feel they almost hinder the game play for me. But that's my opinion 👍

Ah responsibilities.....the downfall of many a good men 🫣
 
We can never tell our ladies that they are hot anymore because temperature is disabled. And the seasonal storm setting is way too high.

I once passed next to a pond of water while walking with my lady, and looked at it funny, as in "must-drink-for-achievement.... but crouch first". She did look a bit suspicious of my intentions.
 
I'm playing default storms right now. I'm tempted to crank it up for the next playthrough although I suspect it will feel too restricting.

There has been some discussions already about improving storm gameplay but that will require alot of testing / feedback so wouldn't expect that quickly.
