The LBD theyre introducing isnt what I wanted or had in mind.

A friend of mine who has an XBox One had a similar experience. It's because Microsoft, for marketing reasons, allow the XBox store to show game titles as available when they won't run on your hardware. It's only when you click 'buy now' or 'download trial version' do you get the 'this game won't...

The LBD theyre introducing isnt what I wanted or had in mind.

I believe Microsoft's rule is that games released for the X have to be able to run on the S, albeit in lower resolutions. The S is marketed as a budget option that's comparable to the X, but delivering 1440p resolution gameplay, not 4k. This was undoubtedly problematic for TFP, and hurt all of...

    Traps in Wasteland

I'm fairly sure TFP stated there were no plans to expand the electrical systems, although that was a while ago and nothing is really ever set completely in stone. It's probably best to assume it's going to be one power source per circuit going forward. It probably takes a shift of habits, when...

PC Bloodmoon becoming way to easy

Only anecdote I'm afraid, but I remember when I first started playing (A19 I think) a Demolisher exploding would destroy reinforced concrete but not steel. These days they'll badly damage but won't destroy concrete. Not sure if that's a demolisher change or a block HP change. I had thought...

    Traps in Wasteland

Yes I noticed the thread regarding armour skills. That's clearly a bug. Has someone reported it?

PC Bloodmoon becoming way to easy

64 Enemies shouldn't have any more PC impact than 32, as only 30 zombies will actually ever spawn.

    Traps in Wasteland

Yes I definitely think the current implementation for loot is way better than 2.0's 'loot caps but no biome bonuses' model. I wasn't proposing tying magazines to loot stage, but having autoshotguns, sniper rifles, SMGs and M-60s, and probably Q5-6 armour, require at least some parts that need a...

    Traps in Wasteland

I agree, but restricting good loot to higher loot stages really needs to be a thing to provide those incentives. Eventually you'll hit max loot levels even in the forest, but you'll get high level loot earlier in the harder biomes. If you want to do a forest only playthrough, I'm fine with that...

    Traps in Wasteland

At the very least I'd like to see two tiers of parts with high quality parts being needed for top tier firearms. That way high quality parts could only go into high loot stage loot tables and would go a long way to solving the 'I can get everything from the forest' issue.

PC Bloodmoon becoming way to easy

I have a theory why high level enemies seem to have become less common as your gamestage has gone up. Low gamestage hordes only spawn a few enemies at one time, usually fewer than 24. Any waves with fewer than 24 will get some zombies 'level' increased to be more powerful zombie types. As your...

Traders don't receive top soil deco

Hopefully this means no more shopping trolleys spawning in trader gateways. That was annoying when it happened as it would block the gateway to vehicles, and there was no way to remove the trolley.

PC Why did you ruin your game?

A major problem with LBD systems is they remove the ability to reduce or avoid gameplay loops you don't enjoy. Currently if mining bores me stupid, I can spend perk points on mining skills to minimise the time I have to spend mining. I can earn perk points by killing or salvaging or building...

    V2.1 b7 EXP

There are night only and day only spawns that die automatically on reaching dusk/dawn. They used to occasionally drop loot bags when they 'died of old age', which pretty clearly wasn't intended.

PC V2.0-2.4 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

Over here in the UK we had Dr Harold Shipman, who I believe is often held to be the most prolific serial killer of all time. He murdered over 300 people, totally undetected, over many years. Was also a very good doctor, it's said. Apart from the killing patients thing, obviously. I think the...
