So far I have not found 100% reliable answers for the following questions so I'll ask them here and please excuse if it has actually been answered before on this forum:
1. Can I transfer Vanilla prefabs straighth from A 16.4 to A 17 (b240) ?
2. Can I transfer Vanilla prefabs straighth from A...
So I decided to try out A17 and did what I always do when modding a game: I clone the Vanilla directory, rename it and start tweaking the .xml files.
I mean I wanted, but before I get to the menu there is a pop up telling me that Steam isn't running. there is a "play offline" button but i'ts...
Isn't that very generalizing and also a little bit insulting in regard to the people who spend their time in the "Game Modification" forums to eventually publish mods so "dedicated" players like you can enjoy them?
The hornet as a single non-zombified but mutated animal made not much sense setting wise. I'm open for all kinds of setting, be it strict zombie, STALKER-like, Fallout-like or whatever.
But the setting needs to have some consistence so for me its either a whole range of mutated species or none...
Imho there is one answer option missing (that at least I would take):
- I don't really care because so far I've modded the heck out of the game and I will do the same with A 17 anyway
For my personal rwgmixer.xml I threw out large settlements completely in favour of smaller settlements and wilderness clusters.
Therefore the new 1800 standard size was already to big for me but while I could lower that number, the roads remained as long as in 1800, they just bended. And in any...
First thing I did when I was tweaking my biomes/rwgmixer was to turn the Forest Biome into "Woodland" and the Pine Forest into "Deep Forest" (with spawning mushrooms). No performance issues there, even if I literally couldn't see the forest before the trees.
Going over a hill usually gives my...
Born To be Wild is a complete new 14-part quest (including optionals) that replaces the Vanilla quest chain.
It took me 3 weekends to pull it off but before I release it, I want it tested by other players. Preferably those who know their way around the xml files, so if they encounter a bug...
I wouldn't mind longer map building times as long as the preview stays as fast as now.
For purposes of testing prefabs, biomes and RPG mixer stuff I have a clone of the game installed where literally NOTHING spawns, except for the things I test
7D2D 2!
Just do the exact same in a SciFi setting with aliens/cyborgs instead of zombies, an rwgmixer that creates planetary biomes and ship/base interiors and prefabs/items to match.
With aliens/cyborgs the whole horde mechanism would suddenly make sense.
EDIT: The setting and creatures of...
I'll be very blunt in my response:
Early Access is a disgrace.
7 Days To Die however is gracing Early Access with it's presence.
Even if the developers would abandon the game right now, they'd leave the community with a cool Create-Your-Own-Zombie-Apocalypse editor. Allready worth the money imo.
