Welcome to the forums, I'm fairly new here myself. The way I understand it the fun pimps still control the Pc version and are still working on new stuff. The stuff for console is given to the companies that work on development for the platforms and then it is released when ready. As far as...
I would be careful with that last bit of advice, saw a hubcap almost picked it up then walked further away and shot it with an iron bolt and it exploded.
They do run over spikes until about the 4th in a row when they lose their legs. I haven't used barbed wire yet but when they encounter the barbwire fence they jump until they break it, was just about to start experimenting with barbed wire running from posts as an extended perimeter in my...

I play on PS4 private games, and at least half of my airdrops have duplicate schematics(Last game it was flaming arrows quite often.). I rarely have anyone join my games, and end up with stacks of the big med kits as well, mostly from airdrops.
Yea I have been testing what you can wrench, and it works for all of the workstations. Forge, campfire( but why its only 8 stone), cement mixer, chem station and workbench. Just whack em to wear down durability and use the wrench for the last few points.
When they drop I use the map and put a marker on the map where they are every time. I have gone to collect a few and they are gone, I've made a 50 meter circle around them walking, just in case I marked them incorrectly, they just aren't there. I also am on PS4.
