Love the look of most of it. With the stamina usage while scoped in is it possible to do something like most other games with snipers and only drain stamina during a "breath hold" to reduce scope sway? A real life sniper will not hold their breath the entire time they are scoped in and thus will...
Sorry if this has been answered, but does the main perk like "strength" upskill on its own like it used to while you play, or will you have to sink points into it? New perk system looks amazing btw can't wait to try it out.
Being able to just loot the few backpacks rather than having to look through them all will definitely be a lot better. If there was a looting system similar to animals to get bones and rotten flesh from the corpses it might help with getting those things.
So is the amount of loot you can get from zeds comparable to before the backpack? I really like the new system as it gets rid of heaps of duplication glitches, but it just looks like there is no loot now.
Hmmm those are some good points, guess we will have to see how it plays out. Adding in bones and flesh would give a decent enough reward to occasionally hunt them, but mostly just run. Maybe give them when you break the corpse sort of like breaking the gore block in a16? Then you don't get the...
Like everyone else I think adding more zombie loot back in would be really great, the bag drop system sounds good though. Also when you break a dead zombie you should get some rotten flesh and bones. Everything else looks great though, especially the arrows.
Bandits with that level of mobility would be pretty cool. Just thinking, we already have Romero-style zombies in the day, and fast sprinting zombies at night and sprinting ferals, maybe have only zombies that sprint should be able to climb like the player? The 7 day hordes would be so much more...
As long as the zeds had the climbing it would make the game so much more epic... imagine running along rooftops in a town on the 7 day horde with sprinting zeds chasing you jumping gaps and getting ever closer... or designing parkour courses where you have to outrun a horde in your server.
7dtd...
I almost only play on a PVP server as I find late game too easy but don't like bullet sponge zeds... and I love tricky base design to keep human raiders out...
Having zeds grabbing ledges like that would be amazing, reminds me of dying light... If they did that they would probably have to work...
I've had them as sleepers a lot. So they aren't blood moon only... but imagine a wave of say 10 spiders in a horde night, or just as a roaming horde, with proper AI and mocap climbing animations... and maybe the ability to climb around the classic ledge.... that would be terrifying...
I think if zombies could jump up ladders people will just find a new way, for example having a gap to jump across to a ladder that is 2 blocks high or just nerd poling. Making spider zeds more scary or have zeds climb on each other better than they can would probably be more effective IMO.
