They could widen the radius by another 50 blocks and it wouldn't really alter the quest negatively at all. I've left the area before having forgotten I was even on a quest-- I think I got a phone call or something and when I came back I just unpaused and headed out...lol. I never saw any...
Another option is to set the 24-hr period to 40 minutes or even 30 minutes. Night is pretty short with those settings. In addition, your hunger and thirst meters more closely match that level of time dilation so you can stay pretty topped off eating a natural breakfast, lunch, and dinner and...
meh...I think it clears a little bit up. But then you only care about timelines and not so much about content and you probably thought I was talking to you. I'll do better about quoting the person I was actually talking to.
As to your question about when...
"No soup for you"
Jars, temperature, storms, smell, clothing, apiaries, and the zombie models are all being worked on actively right now. Some of that could be pushed to 3.0 due to unforeseen circumstances but the plan is for them to be in 2.x updates.
I disagree with this. Personally, I’m looking forward to when games use generative AI for NPC dialogue and we can say goodbye to dialogue trees and reading the same scripted lines 100 times during a game. I know some players will boycott such games but I’m excited for them.
Impossible. Art designers cost the resources of 2-3 regular employees and the current TFP infrastructure just can’t handle that load. Trust me, I have over 25000 hours of time interacting with TFP.

it WAS an odd-numbered alpha after all...lol
j/k...I had to skip most of Alpha 9 largely due to it not working well on my computer at the time. But I was back for Alpha 10 which is one of my favorite nostalgic versions. Hope you have fun!
Hi. The versions that existed before the current launcher window must be started by going into the files and clicking on the exe file. It isn't missing but the launcher window doesn't recognize it's location.
Go to properties --> Installed Files --> browse... and then click on the...
Yes and the blood splatter on the edges of the screen. I don't like that effect being the catch-all visual effect for taking damage.
Selective realism is a thing and it's designed to be arcade where you want it sim and sim where you want it arcade. ;)
This is true. There used to be a death penalty that reduced stamina and slowed the character for 60 realtime minutes and the community freaked out. TFP reduced the time to 30 and then 20 minutes but people were still angry and players would just sit in their base and go AFK until the timer ran...
I agree that there are unfortunate moments where the timing of a storm results in the player having to just wait it out. But, there are also amazing thrilling moments created by the timing of a storm’s arrival.
In my plays, I found the moments where all you can do is wait pretty rare. In most...
You can’t endure the storm in the early game without using a lot of meds but once your HP reaches 150+ and you are able to craft first aid kits they are pretty simple to endure.
There are changes coming that will make storms even easier to endure but they are still going to damage your health...
