Hey all been a while since I was around here. Game looks like it's getting better and more beautiful. Question I have is with all the zeds getting these new high detail models will the player character models be getting the same treatment in the future?
Geez, that is a horrible design choice by the devs, especially if a lot of those shots were headshots. They either need to balance the zeds more, the guns or the damage these weapons do to the zeds. Especially the headshot multiplier. Most zeds should be going down after 1 or 2 shots straight...
Sounds like from that, that you guys are basically tossing the old code and are planning on creating a newer up to date fancy code for bandits like how you guys rewrote the code for zeds for a17
I am not at all surprised the devs added even more support for modding. Some of them used to be modders for different games after all. Gazz I know pretty well from another community and he modded for X3 Terrain Conflict and Albion Prelude, as well as modding 7DTD before he became a team member here.
I'm actually glad to see that the new version will be out soonish. Been waiting for the new version to boot the game back up, been occupying my time with other games :p
odd I don't ever remember seeing iridium ever. I remember tungsten not iridium unless you're referring to a mod. Iridium by itself is a terribly brittle but very hard metal when used by itself. There are only a handful of uses for it. Besides that it is yes a high melt metal but it's 1000c less...
jokes on you seeing as Tungsten is the one metal in the world with the highest melting point :p fun fact tungsten used to be a resource in 7dtd but the devs removed it when they added steel to the list of resources.
that's funny, last time I played it was with Valmod and nails were a required resource to build wood frames, an upgrade them to higher wood tiers, of course once you went past wood tier into metal or stone you needed other resources.
