i'm just wondering how many "outsiders" like me are reading all this stuff and backing away slowly-thinking "are these people able to be professionals? their forum moderator trolls people. The devs make radical changes that don't go in the patch notes-leading to much frustration and wasted time...

after having spent all morning trying maps and then trying to edit the rwg to something i actually want to play in-i too will say "THIS!" lol i really tried to be positive. geeeez

yeah-it's not that i necessarily want them to have less area but the tiny patches everywhere are really annoying. it wouldn't be so bad except the sound and haze from wasteland patches being everywhere is annoying. burnt forest isn't so bad but still-it would be nice if they'd make large areas...

The nailgun thing just happened with this update i believe. i noticed it also yesterday and didn't notice it before so it must've been with this update-lol

yeah-i have never liked wasteland and burnt forest splotched around into every otherwise cool area but the city lay outs are so much better. They actually resemble cities now. it drove me batty that i would have to drive ALL the way across the map to get from one city to another and often...

Re: all the posts saying there will always have to be gates of some kind-to me it's that the gates need to have a rational/realistic reason that encourages working at a pertinent thing. Like if i can't make medkits because my science isn't high enough-the solution should be to be able to DO...

i just picture the new POI's dramatically. Like a "last stand" happening. People falling back and barricading with whatever they can find/hiding wherever their hysteria sends them to hide, as one by one (or groups of 12-ahaha) fall. until the last of them has taken refuge on the roof or walled...

This entire debate with this iteration of the game makes me think-again-of the white suited guy in the matrix explaining to Neo that humans are curious critters. They need something to fight. And they need something to fight FOR in order to thrive and not just give up and die-lol
