PC Am I the only one having a blast?

Broke an object and a vulture dive-bombed me from behind it. Nearly soiled myself. Turned a corner on my mini-bike and almost drove head-first into a pack of zombie dogs and a zombie bear stalking about in front of a Shamway™. Proceeded to immediately sneak and snipe. Went for the bear first...

PC Solo play perk selection question

I'm only up to level 5 or 6, so I'm still adjusting the new skill system to my play style. I tend to be an early scavenger/pack rat, so I allot the initial 5 points from the starter quest like this: 1 point base Intellect for crafting quality increase; 1 point to each of the 3 construction perks...

PC Any idea what killed me?

I experienced this as well on a RWG map, although luckily it wasn't fatal. I checked the map and also did not see any red. I did however pan the view and found that I had spawned at the upper right corner edge of the map, so I figured that explained the sudden run-in with radiation.

    PC food and zombies

Other than old Sham sandwiches and bottled water, most of the zombies seem to rarely drop food. I suppose the "Hungry Zombie" (A.K.A. Big Bertha) are the most likely, despite their name.

PC Alpha 18 release date anyone ??

Hello. Honestly, I didn't know either. Given the ambiguity of the development process, I am doubtful that it would help. Technically, you are correct. However, one could argue it would directly precede Alpha 18.2, should a fix need to be rolled out. Yes. That thought does come to mind. It is...

PC Tips for someone switching from PS4 to PC

I've migrated from PS4 to PC about a month ago when I got my new laptop, and while I have thoroughly enjoyed and logged many hours on the PS4, I have not looked back. Since the change, these are some of the things off the top of my head that I have experienced: As previously mentioned, no more...

PC Simple things make for great user experience

Thumbs up on this one. Splitting stacks one by one is certainly is one of my pet peeves for managing fuel for multiple workstations.

PC Best way to level up!!!

Defense platform: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?83218-Best-Horde-Night-Defense As for the Auger, depending on when you get the parts/recipe to assemble it, makes mining a breeze by comparison to using a pickaxe, albeit higher maintenance. Cutting thru stone like butter will...

    PC Auger time!!!!!!!!

So true. I had to place a temp map marker at my main tunnel just so I could find my way back after.

    PC Auger time!!!!!!!!

If you do find a large area of materials, it helps to tackle it from the top down. Otherwise, if you go from the bottom up, you run more of a risk of the sand collapsing beneath the material nodes. This will shatter the node and turn it into a dropped item that you have to pick up. The drop...

    PC Auger time!!!!!!!!

If you're a mole like me, and like digging out tunnel systems, the Auger will be your best friend. It is resource expensive to maintain, however. Shale should cover the gas needs. For the repair kits, oil will be the most difficult resource to keep up on since you can't craft it. It shouldn't be...
