I would love to see optional displacement/parallax maps on all of the terrain textures. I think it would make a major difference in the game's visuals as there's a lot of ground to be found around. And in fact it is pretty flat, what do you think about that?
And no offense to the game's...
I wonder if there are any plans to add ambient audio volumes to the poi's so there can be reverb and stuff like that. It would add so much to the atmosphere of the game. The game could do with an audio pass too tbh
I can look past the tomb raider super model character, but combined with the artist Lee's comment about controversy with the un-dressed version, I'm apprehensive about what the base models will be like. There's already a pervy undertone to 7Days that is right on the line and it wouldn't take...
"I didn't show a nak--uh base female just, you know, because that could be controversial..." -Lee
Why would it be controversial? Did they put her in a micro bikini? Is she totally nude?
I hope not
The Hueninks said in one of their last livestreams/videos that they still plan to add it, but it sounded like they hadn't planned it out too much yet. IIRC they said it would probably be a more simple implementation (not a ton of motion control stuff) <---I might be wrong about this part, it...
My guess for the next game using 7d2d technology:
A survival rpg with vampires and static terrain, because TFP have mentioned these things before. Do I get a cookie?
That would be ok as long as it can be heavily modded. Looking at what the community was able to do to get Valheim working in VR, motion controls and all, it would be great if that were possible here somehow.
