Roland's Top Ten Ranked: Items that have been added

So, the non-dungeon style pois work with all quest types? What about playstyles? The main thing i would expect to happen is that people would have a harder time spawning all the zombies to clear the poi, even if going loud. Doubly difficult if they were stealthily. And if they aren't...

Roland's Top Ten Ranked: Items that have been added

Could not agree fast enough. That is a beautiful way to explain the differences in coming from a16 onwards. A16 was the swan son of legacy 7d2d. I have loved the journey thus far, and can hardly wait for the upcoming changes.

    Why DONT you want jars

Yup people are lazy, they want to be able to get infinite water on day 1 by making a bunch of glass jars and running to the nearest water source, and never having to think about water again. You know as opposed to having it trickle in, looting the water from pois, and scrambling to have the...

How do you prefer to get gas?

Early game, is collect it wherever I can find it, then wrenching vehicles/buying. Finally once I have a chem station I mine a ton of oil shale and turn it into gas. So the answer is, it depends on where I am at in the game.

PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

yup. when i re-read my post i realize i suggested people were looking for a bump to damage, that wasn't necessarily my intention. I wouldn't complain about having more uses for .44 ammo.

PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

Not that weird at all. it would just be a caliber change. that's something that can be done. But the way the mod system works, it would only increase damage, and never decrease it. So in this particular case i don't know if it makes sense to say a 44 does more damage than the 7.62.

one set of "plain" armour please

makes perfect sense now. i stand corrected lol 1755883355 man the more i think about it. a set of quality 6 primitive armor, heavy armor plates and maxed out light armor just might actually give you the tankiest armor(not counting for status effect negation. I'll have to play with that.

one set of "plain" armour please

just pushing back slightly. The economy is basically barter, with each vendor setting prices. Are you suggesting that someone who looks more intimidating/better looking wouldn't get slightly better prices? We already have a perk that adjusts the prices, so why wouldn't how someone looks...

one set of "plain" armour please

When did it change? Quality 4 or 5 should have 2 mod slots, and quality 6 should have 3. But people keep on making claims about magical bonuses? I don't get that. If you had to run a mile 3 different ways, which do you think would be fastest? wearing no shoes? wearing clogs? or wearing...

Learn By Doing, Perking, or Magazine

I definitely prefer the leveling up and perks controlling what you are good at, as opposed to the learn by doing. And i like that the perks you get effect what magazines you find in loot. For those that don't like the magazine system, i recommend you mod them out of loot, and when you put...

Realism, Immersion In a Fantasy World.

So to answer the OPs question. Im not worried about realism. I do care about the game being consistent in its approach. For instance, everything else in the game has a pool of health to beat, why is it that locks do not. Lock picks should target a pool of health that once defeated can open...

The new update is still weird and doesn't really address anything.

why do you want all of the characters looking the same in the environment you are going to? do you realize how badly that would clip with all of the current helmets. It was stupif for TFPs to waste time changing them at all, but i do like the tags they created for them.

    Why DONT you want jars

I think glass jars should require 30000k sand, clay, iron and stone per jar. But only give you 1 sand when smelted. Oh, it should take q0 in-game days to craft, and generate so much heat you get screamers every second.

    Why DONT you want jars

Some of those things used to exist. It's simply not needed, and in some instances makes as much sense as not having these extra items. For instance, the bowls don't have lids. How are you supposed to carry a stack of 10 bowls of stew around? You obviously have a container that holds 10...

    Why DONT you want jars

There is zero need or use for them. Not having them isn't any more or less immersion breaking than not having bowls for your stew, or plates for for your steak and and potato meal. They juat represent servings of water, clean or otherwise.
