    Good news for me, I've found that you can use a sloped ceiling to compress yourself, lowering your POV and extending your vertical melee range. So my base design should still work with a small modification.

    I've asked about crouching twice in the developer discussions thread and made this thread to try to get an answer. I'm still hoping to get some info from someone from TFP about whats happening with crouching. Is the old crouch gone for good? Will we never be able to really crouch again?

    Has anyone from TFP said anything about why they changed the Y offset of crouch? XML's still say 0.65 but in game its only about 0.25 now, and that is reducing the vertical melee range by about 0.3m.

    So, according to entityclasses.xml, "CrouchYOffsetFP" value="-0.65" The xml still says crouch lowers by 0.65m but in game I'm only seeing a lowering of about 0.25m. So why was the Y offset reduced? Is it a bug?

    Thank you so much for all the wedge corners. Has anyone pointed out that crouching used to lower your pov by about 0.6m and now it only lowers you by about 0.25m? It seems to make it much more difficult to melee zombies from atop a wall.
