With the smell system working...the act of Skinning should generate a LOT of smell. You get no smell till you loot meat...well that in theory works, but NOT when you are skinning vultures, dogs and zombie bears...it should be generating smell to the max range and stick to you as butchering...

While carrying them should definitely make less smell...EATING them is another story and the after effects of beans, cabbage or broccoli are far more devastating and reaching then anything meat related could ever accomplish!

You would be surprised by the large number of people in real life that can not even make toast or a bowl of cereal... I look at the number of cooking magazines not required for that recipe, just as you "finally came across that recipe" as in the ingredients required in game are not how you make...
