    I mean tbf, that's what a set bonus IS.  But that said, set bonuses do intrinsically encourage completing and sticking to a single set. I could see the argument of simply not having set bonuses at all, as they may inadvertently discourage people from mixing and matching.

    I see. I can't say for sure for A17 because honestly I kinda skipped it, but I know there was a singleplayer game mode at least for A16. Unless that still wasn't a true singleplayer either, but even then the performance was much better at least.

    It's the total opposite for me. I get ~45fps on my friend's dedi, but ~15fps when hosting locally to play singleplayer.

    Unless I'm dumb or just missing something, I don't see any option for a singleplayer game mode anymore with A18. All I can do is locally host a server and make it private for 1 player, and that's heavily affecting performance for me.

    Exactly why I don't like going too deep into arguments about realism in game design, because you can't apply that same level of depth to everything. I stick with simpler realism arguments, like how it's total nonsense that an auger can punch through stone and metal. I demand a jackhammer dangit!
