Windows 3.0 Experimental Stuck on Preparing Environment

Okay guys, I'm sure there's some thread somewhere that I can't find but here we go...

I feel like i've done "EVERYTHING" to fix this but alas, I'm here. As my fresh SP game is booting up I get many many scrolling console errors that I have to "esc" past in order to continue loading. It then gets to the point of Initializing game, Preparing Environment and that's where it ends.

I've been playing this game since Alpha 10 so I'm no stranger to this happening, however, this time I just can't seem to figure out the fix. So far I've completely deleted the 7 Days to Die folder, any mods folders, checked file integrity, did a complete uninstall/reinstall. I'm not computer savvy so would need help with checking xml files or whatever to decipher error codes, etc.

Not sure if this matters but I play regularly on a heavily modded MP server that has a prefab zip file that we download to play there. I'm just grasping at straws here. Maybe it'll right itself when Stable is released but if anyone has any trouble shooting tips, please share, i'd greatly appreciate it!!

Please provide a log file so we can take a look at what might be the problem.

Your logs should be found here: %appdata%\7DaysToDie\Logs

Or you can press F1 in game and click the pop out in the top right corner of your screen.

Hey there,

I'm Sam from the 7DTD player support team.

There are some tips in the release notes found here https://7-days-to-die.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/50318172509972-V3-0-Dead-Hot-Summer-Release-Note under 'Modding' and 'Server Admin notes for Sandbox Options' sections that you can read through to see if there are any files that have to be renamed.

If you're still having issues feel free to reach out to us directly by making a support ticket https://7-days-to-die.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and including your log files.

Hope this helps!

Im having the same problem, i cant upload a log because file it so large.
Unfortunately, that doesn't help. We would need to see the log from the beginning to find the problem. Start the game again and edit shortly after the errors appear, which will help your log short. Then paste it somewhere like pastebin.com and put a lock to that here.
