So my drone is stuck disappeared and it says max drones deployed, I tried the dm and jd clear, tried deleting the drone.dat and backup - nothing worked. When I load in it says in my f1 “Refresh Drone Position Waypoint 23077 False”. Any ideas on a fix without deleting my character?

Did you use jd clear after you deleted the two drone files? Close the game, delete those files again. Load your save and use jd clear. Then try placing a new drone. That should work. Be sure you are deleting the drone files from the correct save.
Yes, I tried doing jd clear before and after deleting the files and it was 100% the right save because I only have 1 save file.

The save is my friends save who hosted it, so I’m not the admin. Does that change anything?

Yes. It should be done from the host. They can use jd clear with your ID to clear it for you, but the files would be from them. It may work if they gave you admin access, but I've never tried that way. Best to do it from the host. I've never had an issue when doing it as the host, so it should work for you.
The host did it, deleted the files and tried the clear and it didn’t work. We had him give me admin permission and he cleared the files and I tried to do the clear and it didn’t work either. I don’t know what else to do, it always says max drones deployed.

When they did it, did they just use jd clear, or did they do it with your ID? If they just do jd clear, it would clear for them, but not you. Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions unfortunately. I haven't ever seen anyone post that it didn't work when deleting the files and using jd clear.
They didn’t do it with an ID, but they did give me admin permission and I did jd clear, but also didn’t use an id, but id assume it would clear myself no? Should I be in the game when he tries to clear it or not?

I think you do need to be in the game when they try with your ID. I'm not sure that you can clear yourself if you're not host, but as I said, I haven't tried.
If you try that and it doesn't work, you might want to ask in the support forum as more people who might have suggestions may see it there.
