Windows don't work epic online

EOS occasionally goes down for either maintenance or an outage. Everything seems normal on their end, but if you're still having trouble, try restarting your internet and making sure your PC's time is synced to internet time. If you ever want to see if EOS is down, you can check here: https://status.epicgames.com/
 
I did everything you said, the problem did not go away, and I also looked at the epic status online.

Are you using mods, by chance? If not, I have a couple more suggestions for you:
  • Verify your game files through Steam
  • Exclude the game from your AV/Firewall in case they are blocking you from connecting
