This is not an "attack", only an inconvenience similar to spam mails. I heard you can simply filter them out by language
TFP have already said they are discussing the problem. But that will take time and it may not be easy finding a good solution. Currently server specs are self-announced and there is no 100% safe way to find out if a server is lying about its location. Any simple solution would probably be countered in the space of a few days -> not worth it.

what is the exact reason why the game can not go back to full server listing in every region like it used to be? Before servers would be listed in all regions with only 2 options modded and unmodded. The new setup changed few years ago, and every since than the browser has been a joke.
I don't know how the old server list was sorted. It is entirely possible that it could have been manipulated just as easy as the current one, but nobody tried it before or had no reason to.
In my recollection the problems seem to have started after the console release, maybe that led to the game getting more attention from a chinese hacker or hackers. In fact all these servers could very well be the work of just one single person with access to a lot of virtual machines.
The purpose still eludes me, my best guess is that they could be set up to hack client machines logging into the servers, but then it is strange that the language is not adapted to the region they are displayed in

The Pimps have NEVER been interested in policing servers. You will get nowhere with support. You will get nowhere reporting to Epic, or initiating a violation of the ToS. I know this, because I tried it all a couple years back to stop servers with fake pop that were spoofing my own in order to get players to connect and steal their I.P. address. Very likely at the behest of a certain rival server owner who hates me for exposing the cheaters they harbored on their own server.
These entries overwhelm the server search system and cause results to be dramatically shortened, too:
Once again, The Fun Pimps have NEVER removed outside servers in any capacity from their online service, much less for broadcasting repeatedly or including false information such as inflated amount of players online (the aforementioned rival server has spoofed player count since then, and even today they will appear at the top of the list if you sort by population, but logging in reveals that number is faked). The Pimps are either incompetent, or simply do not care about the multiplayer search experience. Enjoy the game by using outside services such as battlemetrics to find servers to play on, because if you search with a term that these spam servers use, such as 'PVP', you'll never get a full and proper listing. Report it here and nothing gets done. God knows I've tried enough with my host account.
