Duplication glitch with vehicle storage mod

You cannot be the host of the game to do this. All you need is a vehicle, the vehicle storage mod and at least one other vehicle mod.
 
Reproduction Steps
Step one: Get any vehicle, the vehicle storage mod and any other vehicle mod.
Step two: Fill the entire inventory of the vehicle
Step three: Put in the vehicle mods
Step four: Fill the new row with the items you want to duplicate
Step five: Once you fill it with the items you want, you will need to take out the vehicle storage mod, but you cannot normally do this. To remove it you have to click on the other mod so it is picked up by your cursor and swap it with the vehicle storage mod. This will forcefully take out the vehicle storage mod and cause a couple bags to pop out of the vehicle containing all of the duplicated loot and anytime you interact with the vehicle it pops out tons of bags.

We were able to reproduce the issue, and a report was created in our bug tracking software. The fix will come soon in the next major patch.

Hello Survivors!

V2.6 Experimental is here with a group of fixes, tweaks, and gameplay changes.

Here are some of the highlights:
  • Dew Collectors now require jars as "fuel" to produce water.
  • Jars no longer require the crucible to be crafted.
  • The default jar refund chance is now set to 60%.
  • Zombie XP has been rebalanced based on type, HP, and Damage.
  • Added tougher biome spawn zombies to the snow and wasteland biomes.

Here is how you participate:
  1. Right click on the game in steam
  2. Click on properties
  3. Click the “betas” tab
  4. The drop down menu...

Thank you for pointing that out.

The fix mentioned there was addressing a separate issue where the host and client saw different things upon storage removal. The original poster's issue will most likely be addressed in V3.0.
