Good horror PC games post 2000 First person only

Then the first game game which wasn't even graphic was Zork.
I sucked so bad at Zork, I felt like an idiot. It was Ultima 3 on my C64 that I really got into and was hooked on RPGs ever since. Weirdly I laughed at someone who had a C64 in 1983 and thought computers were lame. Then bought a C64 in 1988 (as I could not near afford that IBM PS/2 30 that the local college had) and since have been into everything computer based since.
I recently watched a video of Thief Deadly Shadows, once I get my ssd transfer enclosure, I will finish making
my multi os boot, so I can play those regularly.
I wish you did not say this as I am compelled to show you my unfinished Fan Made Mission In Thief: Deadly Shadows. I never finished it for personal reasons and tried to get someone to finish it for me, but it did not work out.

Anyway, a lot of people did not like Thief 3, but other than the idiotic Xbox loading of maps, I was cool with it and I recommend it to you. I image GOG is probably selling it for peanuts if you check.

I just watched it, I think it was good. The ai back then was simple but not at the
same time. I still have my Thief discs in a CD case They should have faded and
not worked a long time ago, according to what is written, but they have only seen
the light of day maybe twice in 21 years. I just keep rolling over the installation
to new HDs, mounting the img. I'd swear that Assassin's Creed is modeled off of it,
and Prince of Persia combined for effect.

That is the very definition of hoarding. ;)
Well, at least, you are not alone in that aspect.
Funny thing is my favorite interior decorating style is minimalist. I utterly hate clutter. But I have a small 756sf mobile home., so not much can fit in the small quarters. The computer room and my bedroom has industrial shelving units that are packed with plastic containers holding things. I did it to be more organized. The shed is full to the door when you open it. I will have to have a lot of things hauled away soon. Do to the fatigue and lack ambition, which could be a case of depression i suppose. I have lost the desire to clean the house every week like I used to. In 2019 my health started going downhill so that is a part of it.

I kind of like the digital download system of storing things on hard drives instead of having massive shelves of retail boxed games. But I love the old big box games from back when. My favorite is the Thief Gold triangle box version of the game.

I had this version of it in 2000 and like all other boxed games, I got rid of them for some dumb reason.
