What can server admins see?

What all can a server admin see and access that normal players cannot?

1. Active online player locations?

2. Last known location of offline players?

3. Bedroll locations?

4. Land Claim Block locations?

5. Player Vehicle locations?

6. When searching for servers if the "Creative Mode" option is "Off", does that mean that admins can still use Creative Mode, but normal players cannot, or does it prevent admins from using it as well?

7. Can Admins always use God Mode, Flying, and Invisibility? Are those 3 things tied to the "Creative Mode" option?

8. Have all of the "see underground" exploits been fixed? In SP games I saw some holes in the world where water meets the land, but have not seen that on MP games yet. I also have not experienced the exploits that were common years ago. So have these been fixed completely or are there still ways to glitch it and people are abusing that still?

Looks like the ability for anyone to see underground is still a thing. I posted a thread about this but it was exclusively a Single Player Offline issue before. This is the first time I've seen it on a dedicated server MP game.

1. They definitely can.
2. I don't know.
3. They can.
4. They can.
5. I don't know.
6. Administrators have their own settings, they differ from the settings of players.
7. They can.
8. A lot of exploits are related to saving features, since the server saves data differently from the local client, many exploits simply will not work on it.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I wish admin abuse wasn't so rampant in this game. Another element I forgot to mention or ask about in my OP was that I believe admins can also see map icons that other players create. For instance, if I had map markers for my base, my horde base, secret caches, etc, I'm pretty sure they can see those markers as well.

They could probably do this using certain tools, but I've never heard of them doing so. Why would they need to do this? No one will bother sorting through useless and completely unnecessary information.

It's not useless and completely unnecessary information if they're wanting to destroy everything you own on the server. I've seen it first hand back in A13-A16

Allocs online map can do a lot of that I think. Been a while since I have used it on my own server.
I don't know why an admin would want to destroy everything you own. If that happens to a lot of their players I imagine word would get around and no one would join their server anymore.

Yeah. If you have a bad server admin, just go somewhere else. The vast majority aren't going to do that. The most you'd see is them removing things if they violate the server rules.

What's the point of alienating players? For a server to survive, people have to play on it. If no one plays, the server will die.

The answer your looking for is not if someone is an admin or not. but what server permission the owner has given someone.
lvl 0 is the highest admin permission to assign
<!-- <user platform="Steam" userid="76561198021925107" name="Hint on who this user is" permission_level="0" /> -->

once you assign a permission level for an admin than he/she has to meet the permission level of commands or lower to use or see it.
in this example, the lvl 0 admin would be able to see the dm command but if his/her permission is higher than 5 he/she couldnt use or see it
<permission cmd="dm" permission_level="5" />

Which automatically leads to the question: @NewGuy , did you check the server rules of the server where you had this experience?
So you assume all victims must deserve what they get? That's cool. I've seen at least 50 servers in the last dozen years where the admins abused their power. Some people just do it for the schadenfreude. I never broke any rules and I was just one of MANY people they did wrong.

We simply don't know what happened. We hear only your side of the story.

This is why I am asking. You could simply check if the server admin that abused you had some rules in effect that you unwittingely violated. This is just another possibility

Real stand up guy, you are.
You realize you're just calling people nazis. That hasn't worked since the 50s.

You've ran into 50 different servers where some admin has obviously abused you? And you keep going back? Even in your ridiculous ■■■■ analogy, "yes, dear, she was actually begging for it" starts to be a perfectly viable explanation way sooner than 50 cases ...

No, and as a matter of fact, most of the 50 admins that abused their power had bases full of duped and Creative Menu items. I bet you show up to r@pe survivor meetings and ask the girls if they were wearing provocative clothing that may have justified them getting raped. Real stand up guy, you are.
I was able to follow along at first but now I am confused as to how you know that 50 admins had bases full of duped and creative menu items? Did they show you all this?
