Well, in real life, things are different than in the game.
Of course, I have times when I don't collect water for several in-game days, but that's usually because I don't have the time to catch the Blood Moon. Otherwise, I'm almost always making glue.

The dew collector is your water storage. Make a few dew collectors and you have a constant water source; add the mods to it and you'll have too much water in no time.

Yeah I know but the water system seems blah compared to the old days.....Im not a fan of the trader...never have been, to get the supplies for the dew collectors....its meh....I like more of a survival aspect...looting,........finding......building. Not just buying. Its too easy just going to the trader to get the important stuff or the stuff you havent been lucky enough to find or trade!!

What does the trader have to do with this? The trader was not even mentioned in @Space4Ace's reply.

I believe the tarp, gatherer, and filter for the dew collector are now craftable.

When somebody writes: "Bring back buckets.....make it a recipe when you get the anvil.....hammered bucket,,,,at least let you have some water instead of constantly dying from dehydration", it sounds like someone who doesn't know. If you did know then why write that in the first place?
The main purpose of your message was to complain, plain and simple. You could at least post in the Pimp Dreams section and maybe offer a suggestion or something.
Seems like maybe you're a fan of people like Jawoodle, Izprebuilt and More2me4life... Or like I call them, the round table of the complainers.

Genuine betrayal of just how bad faith you are when it comes to criticism holy ■■■■. Jawoodle made 1 video talking about THE COMMUNITIES reaction to 2.0, which he agreed with, 6 months ago and has since made like 40 normal non-critical videos about 7dtd but he's a complainer on par with me? Cultish stuff quite frankly.

To be fair, all it takes is one video that someone doesn't like to make them not want to see anything from that person again. It's hard to get someone to try watching someone after they've already made up their mind to not like that person's videos. You take a risk by making a video that is not your normal style, especially if that video might be too critical or inflammatory or whatever else for fans of a game. Unless the person is already a fan of the streamer, seeing such a video as a first video from that streamer can lead to that person never returning to watch the streamer again.

I don't watch his videos myself, but it's for reasons unrelated to criticism of the game. Of course, I don't watch many videos about this game to begin with. I'm not interested in watching someone else play when I can play it myself or seeing a bunch of meta stuff or intentionally bad game play designed to just get people to watch, so I just have no reason to watch videos about this game. Even with the streamer weekend, I'll watch maybe a half hour total just to try and see some of the new stuff, but not out of any interest in the streamers themselves. It's a rare game that gets me to watch streams and videos. :)

As a Woodle fan, he may have only made 1 video like that, but every video since that I've watched and several before it had lots of complaining in them. Kind of pushed me off his stuff for the time being as the constant whining and negativity about a game he was still choosing to play became tiring. Same reason I stopped watching GNS a while back.

Jawoodle was referencing peoples reactions on steam and the forums. Was it a very vocal minority? possibly. but Jawoodle was talking about what he saw online. If you didn't see these reactions online, what forums were you on? it was unfortunately everywhere.

I'll tell you more: out of the 20 players I chat with in-game, I'm the only one who reads the forum. And half of those players don't even read the patch notes when a version is updated; they prefer to see the changes in the game itself. When glass jars were removed, only one player on the server complained; the rest were simply adapting to the new mechanics. I remember the biggest outcry was when plants stopped sprouting after being harvested and had to be replanted. This really upset a lot of people, including me.
